Dear experts, I REALLY ask for help in identifying the insect !!! The specified insect and larvae are combed out of the hair of the head (where the person picked up is completely unclear). Photo (1,2,3) shows a specimen of an insect, photo (4,5) - there may be a later stage of its development (only an assumption), photo (6) - a larva (damaged). Larvae vary in size - from small (similar to a poppy seed) to larger, most likely – blood-sucking (when pressed, a blood trail remains). Problem in treatment, traditional remedies (drugs from pharmacies) they don't help at all. We tried everything possible. There are no specialists in this field in the city at all, so I really hope for your help in identifying this parasite (it can help in treatment). Photos of the best quality can not be made – very small animals ... Symptoms-itching in the head, feeling of bites. The man was desperate. Thank you in advance for your help and understanding!

It looks like aphids or some of her close relatives are raining down on your wife from some tree. Kerosene can still cause itching of the scalp, as well as from 100500 other reasons that are not related to insects in the pictures. Start worrying about maggots under your skin after a trip to Latin America. And don't watch American horror movies.

You are right, judging the problem here may be useful to someone else. Please tell me, this insect has a period of development when it can be blood-sucking (larvae, nymphs)? The problem is already a month and a half old and the constant ingress of such insects from outside is completely excluded. Is it likely that a random insect is actively reproducing all this time (10 or more larvae are combed out daily, sometimes insects with photos)? The larger ones have blood traces when destroyed. Is this even possible and how to stop it? Is it likely that an insect in an atypical habitat (head hair) can reproduce? As I said, all this time there is an active struggle with them, but without any result. Itching and the sensation of multiple bites appeared in the first days, when chemicals were not used. Maybe what I write is absurd (I am a complete amateur in this matter), but I am trying to show the real picture of what is happening for specialists . There may be a way to solve the problem (the process itself does not stop)... Phobia of fear of insects in this case is absent. Thank you again for your participation in the discussion.

Can you tell me who it is? Spread in the kitchen near the jug filter. During a detailed study, I found out that this creature gets out of the water supply when the tap is opened and the 3l can is filled. It does not float to the surface of the water immediately, but after a while. Sizes range from tenths of a millimeter to half a millimeter. Visible on the surface of the water in the form of white dots with legs through an hour-long magnifying glass. They can independently get out of the water on the walls of the jar, if they are on the edge. They can't swim. I have no idea how they can spread through the water supply system. I noticed that after boiling in the kettle, some individuals show signs of life. Most of all, I was struck by the fact that when I pour water from the kettle into a glass and do not see any signs of life there,in the morning in the same glass I see several pieces of these individuals on the surface of the water merrily swishing their paws. The house is 3-storey, cold water is supplied from below, no one lives on the 3rd floor of the apartment,so I think maybe there is this hotbed there. The picture was taken with a microscope. Good afternoon. We moved into the apartment after major repairs and replacement of all communications. Two months later, I found hay eaters in the bathroom and another type of bug also in the bathroom. the tub is small and generates a lot of humidity when used. purchased a dehumidifier. the hay-eaters began to disappear, and the beetle crawled into other rooms. the beetle is dark brown, no more than 2-3 mm. it crawls on the tile floor in places of grout, on baseboards, wallpaper, sink, bathroom. It looks like a red-headed flour-eater. but it's not in the kitchen. cereals are stored in airtight jars. please tell me what kind of bug it is and how to deal with it. thank you in advance
