I found 3 pieces on the floor in the room today and they fly in the kitchen

16.10.2019 8:39, Ole4ka25

There are a lot of them in the room, on the floor. I take it these are the same ones?

Well, probably the same. But if they had taken a better photo, they would have said it more accurately.

I tried as hard as possible to make a better photo

Good evening. I managed to photograph them as closely as possible. Can you tell me who it is? Like everything in the apartment checked, did not find where they can crawl/fly in. Thank you very much in advance

The photos are still not very good, but it seems to be Ahasverus advena. Look for where they come from-moldy wood, hay, cereals, they fly well into the light.

Hello. Help me figure it out. Insects appeared in the bathroom. You can't take a photo on your phone. The smallest individuals are the size of the tip of a needle, if they do not move, they are not visible. The larger ones are shaped like hay eaters. Caught two in a jar, small moves quickly and easily on the walls of the jar, and the larger can not climb. I took it to the SES, gave the conclusion of a cat flea. But the insect has whiskers and is easily crushed (smeared). At the same time, it jumps neither high nor far.

13.11.2019 22:48, Ксения62

The next day, after finding the crawlers, a black midge was found.

14.11.2019 11:27, Ксения62

It turned out to be filmed.

Not a fact, People usually carry such a mixture, especially in spring and autumn. When "roofs leak" start.

Greetings forumchane! One hope for you!
My closet is constantly getting wet, because it stands close to the cold, freezing wall of a five-story building. Plus, mold has long appeared, I certainly struggle with it, but it still manages to periodically spread to things. And yesterday I found these beetles on my things. I took one of the fastest and largest in the video with a macro lens, their real size is very, very small, it is difficult to see and generally distinguish from motes.
Please help me identify the animal!

It looks like the video can't be attached, so I uploaded it to VKontakte. Please forgive me if you suddenly can't do this, it's just that it's more or less clearly visible on the video.

Dear experts, good night. I need your help again ((
Lice were found on the bathroom floor after washing the child (I hope so). 3 pieces. The dead ones. Can you tell me from the photo, please, is this a head louse or a dress louse? When examining the head, I didn't find anything, although maybe I just looked through it, but just in case the head was treated. Thank you.

Please tell me what kind of spider it is and what it needs from me? weep.gif periodically, this kind of spider (not the same one) appears in my apartment. It always sits under the ceiling, at the wall-ceiling junction. It almost doesn't move, and it appears unnoticed. This kind of spider scares me a lot. The abdomen is 5 mm in diameter, from a distance it seems to be somewhat reddish. I couldn't have taken a better picture. How to get rid of spiders forever? How do I upload a photo? I can't understand

A couple of weeks ago I found these insects in a wooden house...
From 1 cm to 1.8 cm in size, fly, crawl not fast... Redheads... So far, I have won about 30 pieces.... The house is wooden, exciting somehow... Mostly seen on the interstory staircase coming from the basement...
I want to know how to deal with this invasion...
I locked a couple of them in a jar... awaiting sentencing)

Barbel beetle Obrium cantharinum (or brunneum).

Thank you. Is this creature eating wood?

09.12.2019 1:34, Victor Titov

Apparently, the beetles are derived from some wooden structures in the house, made of hardwoods. If all of them are displayed , there will be no more.

09.12.2019 1:38, Victor Titov

By the way, 1.8 cm is too big. With a mustache probably measured?

Maybe...) Fear has big eyes.... Up to 1.5 cm, most likely there was one or two..
The rest are small, about 1 cm.
I read the Wiki - Obrium takes root in hardwoods, brunneum-in conifers.
I didn't find any external differences... (it's hard for a layman to understand...)))
I didn't find any information about the lifecycle... It would help me understand where this alien came from...
In the spring, I brought birch and aspen firewood into the house (under the stairs)- if the beetle got out of the firewood, then there are practically no other hardwoods in the house except for firewood...
But in November, in the basement brought a board for construction work (Pine, cedar, larch) ... that's if from these boards.... They'll start laying eggs all over the house... if of course the diet of these barbels includes dry painted wood))
Tell me about the life cycle, please. And about the conditions of maturation...

This is the reason for the appearance - several life cycles can develop in aspen logs. It does not eat processed wood, and feeds only on logs and logs with bark.

Necrobia violacea. Boneyard is also called. Do you have dry meat, bones, dried fish, skins?

17.12.2019 23:50, nokerka

There is no such thing. Source not found, cleaned up everywhere, catch. There are fewer of them, but they still get caught. Maybe they came from dog food?

18.12.2019 23:31, Triplaxxx

It appears to be Necrobia rufipes (DeGeer, 1775), with light feet. But that doesn't change the point. These species are attracted to oxidizing fat. In principle, they can live in the feed - there is enough fat there.

I ask for your help in identifying the insect,as well as in methods of dealing with them.
They were found in the croup: everything was cleaned, the croup was thrown out,but periodically it appears. Most often in the kitchen, sometimes in the bathroom and hallway.
I really hope for your help and assistance.
Thanks!

Apparently, the Surinamese flour eater Oryzaephilus surinamensis, a frequent pest of grain stocks.

15.01.2020 19:25, stierlyz

A terrible-looking monster!
Devoured a grain of unfortunate!

In fact, this beetle is a characteristic pest of stocks. What to do? Search and destroy! To neutralize cereals, you can use heating in the oven or fumigation with alfosomes (aluminum phosphide). But sometimes it's easier to throw it out. If all the grits are cleaned, then the beetles will disappear over time.

Is it drevotochets or flour crunch?

ps. I live in a wooden house. Insulated. Outside siding, inside finishing with drywall, etc
. The house is about 10 years old. It was treated with all sorts of antiseptics.
Now these beetles are coming. It's been two or three weeks now.
Or it's a treetop... Although, they have, as I smoked the Internet on the topic, mating games in the summer, and not now.
Or it's a crunch. Which I would be very happy about. With a woodworm, if this is it, you will have to seriously fight..
They climb out from under the wall decoration. They mostly sit on the ceiling until they crash. I destroy 15-20 pieces per day.
There is no flour. Well, maybe about a kilo, in a jar. Clean. But, again, according to articles on the Internet, crushers can eat the corpses of mice and rats. And in the fall(a couple of months ago or a little more) I poisoned these nasty rodents, which for the winter by all means still get into the house. Now I think I've completely destroyed them, but they could have died in the walls..
