You find it funny, but I do not know what to do with them. All over the refrigerator and it is also full, every day I wash it and everything to no avail. A small child in the house, I'm still worried.

19.02.2009 2:29, Мих

and this is definitely not small nogohvostki?

19.02.2009 20:46, Жужилица

Sorry about the CAPSLOCK! I really didn't know it was such a big mistake! The balcony is glazed, but there are seeds of beans, watermelons, etc., etc. Can they be there too? confused.gif

20.02.2009 1:50, inuska

I don't know what it is,I don't understand them. And if legwings, how to get rid of them?

20.02.2009 13:21, omar

Legtails jump. And these are probably ticks. Inushka, have you seen many ticks in your life?

20.02.2009 17:08, inuska

So I don't know what it is, so I consult you. How to destroy ticks?

21.02.2009 10:47, Tigran Oganesov

Sorry about the CAPSLOCK! I really didn't know it was such a big mistake!

A message written exclusively in uppercase on the Internet is perceived as a loud shout and is not a good tone when communicating on the forum.

Just a couple of hours ago, I found the same animals in my closet...immediately went to the forums, found this thread, checked the beans-EXACTLY!!!!Sitting bastards! Thanks to the experts!!!

And I really crushed a lot ) I wanted to rob everyone!

23.02.2009 1:32, Victor Titov

And I really crushed a lot ) I wanted to rob everyone!

What if they wanted to exterminate us all? Haven't you thought about it? First, state exactly what bad things they did for you. And you are for them? At a minimum, they sent an incredible amount...

25.02.2009 1:04, undercover

I have them too!At least they fit the description as maggots!
often I see in the bathroom, a couple of times in the corridor
size-most often 1cm seen less than 0.5 cm
color-light!!!
special marks-no whiskers!legs are not visible(I didn't really look closely)
very NIMBLE!when they run away, they slightly wag their body
, they don't always appear(they may not be there for a week)I see them on the floor and on the washbasin) I haven't seen them in other places...

Here is such a bug found in the morning in the kitchen on the curtain:

We sat down like a host in the amount of a dozen pieces somewhere. I came back from work - there are no invaders.
Bigger than a match head. They're so fat and well-fed.

Pros, tell me, pls, what kind of animal?
Where did you come from and where did you go?
What can we expect from them?

27.02.2009 0:15, Fornax13

Do you have any beans? If so, go through it.
Google Acanthoscelides obtectus. Yours? wink.gif

and I have some of them. They live in the toilet under the baseboard. They've been living for years. On the 1st thing a week I see. I tried only pressing, but they are not displayed. And I don't always push, it's a pity... By the way, if you crush it with toilet paper, the "body" does not remain, it is smeared into gray dust. There are no antennae, and if there is something, it is not as huge as those of scalefish.

27.02.2009 0:39, Жужкинсон

Similar.
But mine are colored evenly.
And the grains will somehow be more polosatey and poglazastey.

27.02.2009 12:05, RippeR

an obvious grain, not a bug exactly wink.gif

27.02.2009 14:23, Жужкинсон

I caught one today and looked at it more closely. Exactly-a bean seed.
Both striped and mustachioed - everything is as it should be.

In the photo above, they probably curled up from shyness, but so yes..just like the pictures show.

Fornax13 and RippeR, thank you for enlightening us!

The only surprise is that there are no beans in the apartment and no legumes at all!
What do they eat and where do they go? smile.gif

27.02.2009 17:48, RippeR

if you act on the principle-not beautiful-I will destroy, then you need to jump from the balcony in the morning lol.gif

Have you tried to apply to the SES yet? They'll kill the devils there, too. Yes, and firms to combat various domestic creatures are full, even on this page there was an advertisement flashing...

Help!! I have in the kitchen and now all over the house run some creatures like ants but very small literally 3 mm in length. they're everywhere! they're light-skinned.

M. B. Pharaonov ant? Call the company for combating domestic dirty tricks, there are very effective drugs against this thing. If it's this type, you can't display it yourself.

That's all that happened. Excuse me,but they are very small. Please help me determine if there is a small child in the house.

And this is not by chance worms that suck juices on indoor plants, can mass multiplication

28.02.2009 20:59, Ilia Ustiantcev

I saw a nettle worm, it's hard to call it small...

02.03.2009 0:54, Oks-koks

You're so self-critical of yourself, RippeR. You have to love yourself. And you are immediately going to jump from the balcony. Although, you know better.

I also caught the little animal in the bathroom, such a nimble, flexible, shiny (in the photo it does not shine for some reason). They weren't found before. She didn't introduce herself. Who is she?

Who else can you be self-critical of? confused.gif And, besides, if RippeR still hasn't jumped off the balcony, it means that everything is not so bad or he lives on the first floor. smile.gif

For the answer, see the similar topic just discussed: "Help me find out what kind of insect this is... "

02.03.2009 9:55, Liparus

I put this one in the bathroom every month

03.03.2009 2:08, Gonzio

jumping? if yes maybe nogohvostka..
they feed on mold, appear when there is a lot of humidity ( in the soil with flowers, for example)
and are not dangerous.

03.03.2009 17:01, RippeR

I'm not principled ) the answer was much easier )

Good afternoon! Please help me classify this insect:

the child complained that someone was biting him at night, went through everything in his room and caught 2 of these insects behind the bed.

The actual question: What's it? and how to deal with it ?

ps: Sorry for the quality of the photo, it was possible to take pictures only on the phone.

Larva of the leatherworm genus Anthrenus. She can't bite. It feeds on various biological residues - hair, exfoliated pieces of skin, etc. The best method of control is to vacuum the cracks in the floor and on skirting boards. and generally keep the floors clean.

04.03.2009 12:29, Eu9EnE

Thank you so much for your reply!
But the child has bite marks, similar to mosquito bites, bite marks are itchy. Although maybe it's some kind of allergy to them ...
If it is a larva, then the next stage is the leatherworm itself, can it bite ?
And another question is how they could get into the house, I read that the beetles themselves live on flowers, and the larvae in furniture, i.e. after the larvae develop, they look for flowers and move into flower pots ?
It's just that there is no old furniture in the house, and wet floor cleaning is carried out regularly.

04.03.2009 12:36, Alexandr Rusinov

An allergic reaction to leatherworm larvae is quite possible, especially if there are a lot of them. Adult leatherworms are small beetles of 2-3mm. for example, they feed on flowers (and not in) or do not feed at all, so they are also not able to bite. And how they got into the apartment-yes, they live here... Adult beetles enter through windows or ventilation in the summer, and larvae develop in the dust. Adult beetles can be found on windows and windowsills, because they fly to the light.

04.03.2009 12:53, Eu9EnE

Thank you again!
And do you think it makes sense to carry out some kind of treatment with insect repellents ?
Or will it be enough to pull all the furniture out of the room very carefully vacuum the cracks between the skirting board and the floor and cover them with sealant (there are no cracks in the floor, laminate throughout the apartment) and remove the flowers from the windowsill?

04.03.2009 12:55, Dmitry Vlasov

Other "apartment" invertebrates can also bite: bed beetles, rat mites, etc. Bedbugs hide in the cracks of furniture for a day, rat mites are very small and it is difficult to see them... If the complaints continue and there are bite marks, then look for a better reason.

04.03.2009 13:24, Eu9EnE

And how to determine the presence of bed beetles or rat mites ?
I tried using A4 sheets of paper and got no results ...
"... then look for a better reason."
What are the search options?

Hello dear insect loverssmile.gif To be honest, I don't know much about insects. I am an amateur aquarist with a lot of experience. Two days ago, in a terrarium with newts, I found small insects less than a millimeter in diameter, terracotta (red, some red shade. The color is weird. As if they feed on beta carotene
Bright and seem fluffy.Random, frequent movements, jumping and swimming on the surface of the water.eek.gif Having gone through in my mind all the types of insects and worms that can be found in the aquarium, I did not remember anything like it. I asked for help in the relevant forums. but no one, not even professionals, has ever encountered such a thing. Now I have already washed the aquarium well with boiling water, but I wonder who it was all the same?

p. s. I don't feed newts with live food and I haven't bought plants for a long time, so I couldn't bring them together with the lump or plants. In other aquariums with a turtle and fish, everything is fine.

05.03.2009 21:19, Zlopastnyi Brandashmyg

Are there any material evidences left? Photos?

I'm afraid that this description, and even after washing the aquarium with boiling water, is impossible to say anything definite.

05.03.2009 21:26, guest: Татьяна

Unfortunately, they were so small that it was impossible to photograph them. And who does the description look like anyway?
