I can't sleep now ((((

13.01.2009 6:54, lolly

in general, in the struggle between fear and sleep, fear and inventiveness won. I spent an hour trying to take a picture of the beetles. here's what's expected:
things with antennae, small... maybe someone will see something familiar in the photos... I really hope for my help

Like Omar said, they look like ticks. What country or city do you live in? In what (wooden) house?

13.01.2009 10:38, omar

These are the ticks. Chicken or rat eggs. Nasty things. They can be delivered to the house with sacks of potatoes, for example, which were previously in the barn (barn, cowshed, chicken coop)

13.01.2009 14:28, lolly

I live in Moscow, in a prefabricated house, no bags of potatoes, etc. there!!! What should I do with them???

13.01.2009 14:53, Dmitry Vlasov

Rat mites are not necessarily imported with potatoes, etc., they can be spread by rodents or spread themselves... They can bite and cause an allergic reaction to bites. If there is no opportunity to take a picture and post it, call the SES service, let them send a specialist to identify the "enemy" and take measures to destroy it... I'll warn you right away - the service is more likely paid...

13.01.2009 15:42, omar

Yes everything is already clear from these even fotkam

I took a picture and posted it)) I looked at pictures of rat and chicken ticks on the Internet-in my opinion, they don't look alike. and are the ticks really that small?
there are no rodents in the house. this is 100%. the main thing is the feeling that the source is somewhere very close to me. I have a bed made according to the principle of a chest, inside there are old toys and a lot of my art works, can they crawl from somewhere from there? because it all started with my bed and windowsill. now I notice them in other places, but it's more likely that I moved them there with things from my room.
can you tell me the phone number of the SES service? yandex only finds stuff like making certificates for money. I understand that it's paid, but that's not the main thing, the main thing is to get rid of them as soon as possible, otherwise I think about them all the time and can't sleep)

13.01.2009 19:12, lolly

I wrote above.
Omar, can you tell me what to do?
and the main thing is what to show the SES service when I don't always see them myself. suddenly they will arrive and we will not find beetles ))))

Here, I finally found these worms. I find them not in dust and hair, but under clean clothes that lie on the shelf for a long time.

And how to get rid of them? Does anyone know?

And what is their life span?

17.01.2009 21:48, qwerty

17.01.2009 21:57, qwerty

similar, BUT I don't know maybe it's from the huge increase in the photo, but mine look a little different, i.e. as I said, there are no antennae , at least SUCH, vygldyadyat more watery, and this one looks like a dinosaur, such a shell) and they don't seem to know how to climb on vertical surfaces,, and again the question is, even if this is them, then there is no way to destroy them except by drying them up?

18.01.2009 14:17, Vabrus

I don't know, I've never set out to do that. In my bathroom, too, sometimes they slipsmile.gif through Purely theoretically, you can try to process all the corners with chalk from cockroaches.

The larva of some kind of cicada. Probably taken in the Caucasus.

19.01.2009 22:47, Tigran Oganesov

Aha, cicada larva Ricania japonica

Here, well taken! I was also very surprised by these animals in the Caucasus! But I couldn't take a picture.. They're small , furry, and jump around. And why do they need this tail, how it grows, how the imago looks.. and in general, what is the nifa about them?

20.01.2009 0:11, Tigran Oganesov

The Internet is full of their photos, just enter the name in the search engine.
But still attach your photo imago. We always have plenty of them in the south." Mass pest, imported from Japan. The "tail" is her own wax-like discharge.

For about a week and a half, I began to notice that light red beetles were crawling on my laptop (I have a black one inside, so I saw it first on it), then I began to notice that they were crawling on the sides of the bed, and on paper, etc. I don't know how to take a picture, because they are very small, less than a millimeter, I notice them only by movement ))
do not bite, other inconveniences except for their presence, at least obvious, yet do not deliver.
I understand that there is no description, but maybe this is something common and therefore easily definable(

I found such small beetles in the closet today ((((( small dark ones, similar to the previous description....they crawl, but don't jump.... they don't look like ticks, they look like very small beetles.... for some reason, it seems that they are connected with a wooden cabinet.... WHO KNOWS TELL ME WHAT IT IS!!!!!

Black-bodied beetles of the genus Tribolium, if I'm not mistaken. Pests of your flour and cereal stock.

22.01.2009 17:43, Fornax13

Go through cereals, etc. Tribolium of some kind - "small flour khrushchak".

22.01.2009 17:59, omar

Tribolium ferrugineum I guess

cool! and where did it come from in the middle lane ,and what to do with them ?

cool! and where did it come from in the middle lane ,and what to do with them ?

In the middle lane - a common thing. By the way, it has nothing to do with real scorpions, it is an independent group of arachnids. They live under the bark of trees, the book false scorpion-in the dwelling of a person. Please don't do anything with it! Take pity on the animal! They are even useful: they feed on small insects and other invertebrates. In short, don't panic! wink.gif
