Hello, dear Lollysmile.gif, I found this note of yours when I was scouring the Internet myself in search of an answer to the same question.
I also have such insects in my apartment, and on my computer and computer desk, too.As you wrote, I noticed them only by their movement. They crawled on the monitor,at first I thought it was dust, but then I found out that it wasn't)))I'm also trying to figure out who it is.I have found so far that this is a special species of nogohvostok(there are several thousand species, so I can't say more precisely). They live where there is a lot of dampness and a lot of mold, because they feed on its productive life activity and directly on it.You can't see very clearly in the photo, but it's very similar to what I see in my room.

Help!! I have in the kitchen and now all over the house run some creatures like ants but very small literally 3 mm in length. they're everywhere! light ones like this.

12.02.2009 19:46, guest: inuska

Hello!
I have a white insect in the kitchen, very small, so it's not really possible to take a picture. It moves very fast and can only be seen on dark objects. Found first on the windowsill, washed everything, but the next day they reappeared, but already all over the kitchen. It's very wet here.maybe because of this. Help identify and get rid of insects.

Dear Ekaterina, if these are Zernovka beetles (experts will correct me here) then you need to look for them in the kitchen stocks. View it, and if it is confirmed, then turn it off. And it is better to write to the forum not in capital letters (on some forums for this (analogous to shouting) they are excluded from communication.

These are bean seeds, look for and check your bean stocks...

14.02.2009 15:36, Victor Titov

THEY CAN FLY AND BITE QUITE SENSITIVELY CAN THIS BEETLE EAT FURNITURE? AND HOW TO DEAL WITH THEM?

And this you have already imagined for yourself! Well, a bug accidentally landed on your hand, so what: immediately bite or something? Grains can't bite! If you thought the opposite - take a sedative-It definitely seemed to you (fear has big eyes smile.gif). For furniture, these beetles are absolutely not dangerous. Find a supply of beans in your home and eliminate them, and there will be no beetles.

Hello. I had a rest in Anapa, there were some nasty beetles in the room, I couldn't even sleep normally = (I would like to know what kind of beetles they are? Thank you in advance. Here's a photo...DSCN0316__1_.jpg

14.02.2009 16:41, Victor Titov

This, of course, is not a beetle, it is the lowest primary wingless insect-Thermobia domestica-a domestic scale. Harmless and harmless, in principle, the creature.
Speaking of which, they're nasty...They don't argue about tastes, but in my opinion it's a very cute insect. You shouldn't have called her that.

is it mites or mold

15.02.2009 17:40, amara

It would be 5 times larger, and it would help a specialist (not me) to determine. Try.

[font=Arial]I don't know what to do tell me!!!! In winter, ants have started up, they love white bread very much, they don't even go near honey.

Pharaoh ant (Mopomogiim pharaonis). It is very difficult to get out of a single apartment. It is necessary to unite the efforts of neighbors.

Mopmogiim is a thing that doesn't need to be output. You can exist without problems, and learn something about biology along the way. Recommend. I had some.

I have my own experience of communicating with these comrades. In 1982, they cynically worked on my mattresses. Nothing could be deduced. Then they disappeared overnight. How and where-God knows... But I don't regret it at all!

Unfortunately, my experience of interacting with them continues for the third year. It is extremely difficult to deduce, but it is interesting to observe. Don't touch the collection. Freshly caught butterflies are gnawed during the first two days, but only fluff from the abdomen. I've never seen any serious damage from them. But I'm still not ready to accept such cohabitation smile.gif

Thank you. They really don't argue about tastes. But thanks to this Thermobia domestica, my vacation was ruined (((

But thanks to this Thermobia domestica, my vacation was ruined (((

Let me disagree umnik.gif: Your vacation was ruined not because of a harmless and absolutely not dangerous insect for you (I can imagine how many you innocuously crushed weep.gifthem), but because of your subjective perception of Thermobia domestica and (sorry!) ignorance of the subject you encountered wall.gif. The easiest way is to look for the reason on the side, and not in yourself, a loved one... wink.gif

I'd be crazy if I had such a nasty thing at home!!!!! br!!!!! goosebumps! Here, too, I break the Internet-some small brown larvae have settled. it doesn't look like a moth.

17.02.2009 2:43, inuska

I visited the neighbors, but I didn't see anything like this. Maybe I don't understand anything about it,but how can mold run? It doesn't look like ticks, either. They are like semolina, less than 1 mm. Help identify and destroy them, they are not afraid of anything not cold, not heat and even bleach.

17.02.2009 16:13, Ilia Ustiantcev

Try launching it into outer space. If they survive - tardigrades.

In vain, in English-speaking countries, the scale fish is called a "silver fish"... A harmless creature...

Affect should be treated. And nerves. And sadism. Valerian in large doses. And about the girls you are in vain. Not everyone is so hysterical. mad.gif

thank you so much for your help! on your advice, we reviewed all the stocks of beans, and one of the cans really turned out to be beetles. the jar was thrown out and the visible beetles were killed, but the beetles still appear. And on the back side of the window (where the balcony and it is glazed). Where else would they be? Thank you in advance for your answers!

18.02.2009 21:16, Андреас

- With a huge effort of will, I try to keep myself from making adequate comments on the first post... "Just so you don't make your superiors angry!"!! mad.gif lol.gif

They can also fly from their neighbors. Are there no stocks of beans-peas-beans on the balcony?

That's for sure! They didn't touch you! It was you who behaved hysterically at the sight of small beetles, silver in color. You need to be able to control yourself and not be stupid wink.gif

Please help me determine what kind of bug was crawling on my wall at home. That would fly did not see. In length somewhere 3-3. 5 mm. (P1130371.jpg)

And some other scum was also sitting on the wall, probably a maggot. It is approximately 5 mm. (P1130384.jpg)

Thank you to all who responded! Thank you, admins, for creating such a forum!
