Good day to all! I got out today in a small forest in the vicinity of Shakhtersk of the DPR, the task was to catch necydalis major, well, and see what flies. In general, a lot of fresh paphias fly, very often this year there are dark females, as well as fresh circe, galatea, Alexis pigeons and many different dragonflies are also worn. In general, I did not catch anything, because I was sitting in one place, looking for barbels, you can only catch them during the summer, in other cases it is very difficult to notice it. The photo shows a clearing along which barbels flew, a red-haired prankster who stole my cherries, and a photo of the catch is already on the mattress.

Hello everyone.
The sun will shine in Ialoveni from August 18 to 31. Energy saving lamp 65 at 325 watts. There is no decent source yet, but it is convenient-I put it in an outlet, hung it on the wall (on a sheet) and used it. Place - the wall of the new house, facing the settled hillside.
I was interested, of course, in beetles. Of the interesting trophies, i.e. new species for me, the coolest was a pair of leaf beetles Cryptocephalus octomaculatus. I'm not sure that they actually arrived at the light, the male was found on the hand already at the time of removing the sheet, and the female was sitting on that very wall the next morning. But the beetles pleased me, somehow they turned out to be very non-random - one empty place in the collection became less.
Several species of blackbirds flew well: a dozen Alphitobius diaperinus and Cynaeus angustus, and five Eledona agricola.
Three species of otiorincus - ovatus, fulo and albidus-crawled en masse from the weevils to the light, and one bruneus came along. Two types of bagous flew in apiece, of which one was destroyed by overly picky straightening. The desire for "aesthetics" failed, I was left without a good beetle. But it turned out to be some kind of small blue baris.
Anthicidae flew well. In total-two new species: Anthicus antherinus and Stricticollis tobias, and a few more dark ones, such as Anthelephila pedestris, but not him. And a couple of Notoxus came, which I automatically uploaded to monoceros. But after comparing them with the samples from the collection, I doubted if it smelled like appendicinus!!! We'll figure it out.
Several species of Aphodiaceae were flying, and among them there was definitely a new species for me - mm3-4, completely light brown, but as the pronotum dried out. it's getting very dark.
Of the water lovers, there are several examples of Berosus. Like different types. This is very interesting material, and I hope to use it to clarify my previous collections, including those in Central Asia.
As well as small ground beetles, leafblocks, staphylinae... And even one barbel.
And the beetles! They don't end!
On the last day of the two-week svetilova decided to take a picture of butterflies. But I'm a complete idiot in them. All, of course, banals, well, what are rich in.

The trip is not for the purpose of photographing butterflies, but an excursion, but choo also took a photo of butterflies. I drove all over the mountain with several stops, first at a pine tree that is 1500 years old, then at a pond with turtles, then at a waterfall that is now almost dry. Not to say that it was particularly impressive (except that the pine tree was interesting). I met the butterflies at the very top. There weren't many of them. I didn't see any whiteflies at all. I've also seen the Callistege mi owl (erebid), Siona lineata moth (rather large, about the size of a whitefly), burdock, as well as green mottled moth and thick-headed moth, which I don't know much about. There was also a large anthill.
