They also exist in the Moscow region. Biotope - settled drylands interrupted by wetlands.

I was interested in the form of almost no bandages, never such a colleague we have not seen.

Then the scouts got fatter (all horses get fatter!) therefore, it is necessary to dry it,then soak it for a day (I don't remember exactly)it seems to be in a solution of alcohol with ethyl acetate for a day (I don't remember the dosage),but then spread it out...

Who, cassideus-s? (if I defined it correctly). Near Moscow, like only Licinus depressus is marked?

25.04.09. Again we went to the same place as 17.04 in order to catch Carmelita. We arrived in the evening to the beginning of fishing.
Makarovsky district, about s.Marianovka, the outskirts of a mixed forest (N50°28 '59’, E029°59' 05’), two lamps of 250 watts DRV, from 20-30 to 23-00, clear, windless, cold, at the beginning +10, at the end +7, and when we left the forest so in general +2.
A single micro-diurnea, one red-haired rider, and a greenish fly. May beetles began to fly .Years very weak.

Today it was over +25 and I decided to take a little walk around the neighborhood, scouted the road to the Danilovsky Arboretum (~3 km from me in a straight line)...

In general, the day began at home with Plodia interpunctella, apparently unsuccessfully born.

Hello everyone
I follow the reports with great pleasure and couldn't resist taking part in this project myself. And so let's start!!!
According to the recommendations of local entomologists, I decided to go to the Ananyevsky district, the village of Delovoye, the collection date is April 23. The weather was very warm and sunny, and in a very short time (about three hours) we managed to collect and capture the following views:
Dorcadion fulvum , Dorcadion holosericeum , Dorcadion tauricum , Dorcadion caucasicum , Dorcadion equestre , Stephanocleonus nigrosuturatus, Cicindela solute, Cicindella campestris , Lethrus apterus.

1) Yes, Plodia interpunctella
2) It is not yet a female, but a caterpillar - and it does not look like A. atra, any other genus or species.
3) Oooh! On the last photo-Cameraria ohridella. What is this infection - you can read in this article (section "issue history", second page). I've already reached you! Can I use label data for photos?

1) Yes, Plodia interpunctella

They've been flying around the room all winter, and they're still coming out of nowhere. My wife for some reason firmly believes that walnuts... Although it seems to be called "Southern barn fire", in some kind of cereal, in theory, it should be bred, and I have not seen such holes in nuts through which it would climb out...

I shot a cover about three weeks ago literally on the same birch tree, Rutyan identified it as Acanthopsyche atra. I thought this was it...

Well, if so, then maybe these are also her.
But not very similar to the English version of their covers:

There are no problems with the definition of these species: those that are two are Psyche casta (4288 and 42940), and the one that is one is Acanthopsyche atra (4511).

And Psyche can also be crassiorella: there, in males, it is necessary to count the segments of the antennae.

In general, bagworms are a terrible family to define: there is such a group, Dahlica / Siederia, where it is generally unclear how to establish species boundaries, given that bisexual and parthenogenetic populations are mixed here and there; genetic studies show that morphological features do not work there at all! Terrible band!

Vlad, Kashtanka occupied almost all of Ukraine, including Crimea. There is no reliable data only for the Luhansk region, but according to oral data, the range has expanded even to the Rostov region and, possibly, Belgorod, etc. In Vestnik (http://www.v-zool.kiev.ua In 2008, two notes (one of them mine) were published on her findings in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

You can also add the following points in the Donetsk region: the cities of Avdiivka and Svyatogorsk (formerly Slavyanogorsk). The village of Dronovka is located right on the border with the Luhansk region, so not walking in Luhansk is just a formality for now. An article in the 3rd issue of Vestnik (Google, Zinenko, 2008) dealt with finds in the Kharkiv region and Crimea. I also noted it in the Crimea in 2008, just above the South Coast (approximately 300-400 m above sea level), between Foros and Parkovy.

Finally, I had a free day, and yesterday I went fishing with Boris and Andrey, a novice butterfly catcher, near the Uda River and the pine forest.
We arrived at the place in the morning at 9.00, first noticed some black beetle on the coastal vegetation (from the Cholevidae family),
then we went to the blooming pear tree on which I caught about 45 large pipefish (Rhynchites giganteus)
and the same number of elephants (Phyllobius ?vespertinus), while Andrey was hunting polyxene smile.gif, and Boris was engaged in photo hunting smile.gif
then came the staphylinae (including the mermecophile found in the anthill of yellow ants), ladybirds, other pipefish, leaf-eaters, water-lovers, pill-eaters, nutcrackers, and so on.
In general, the catch ended well smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif
From the butterflies, I caught a female zorka and gave it to Andrey in exchange for 2 trubkoverts
to Barry Many thanks for the purple Chrysolina sp.

I also checked the traps set in the pill collecting areas, and found two pills, small staphylinae, and ground beetles...in general two pills and one staphylin can be considered a good catch for which I put 30 cups lol.gif

Added two videos about polixena and sakun. redface.gif

Of course, a photo hunt... we caught all the polixenes - and then go take a picture... As soon as I got close to the last remaining one, about a meter away, a pear tree came trotting behind me, jumping enthusiastically and yelling at the whole neighborhood, so that even the grandmothers from the nearby vegetable gardens began to look at what was happening there... Polyxena, the last visionary, immediately ran across the river... Except for the one clamped between your fingers, now there's not even anything to show...
Well, nothing, but I got it back today. smile.gif

I don't know, I don't know, I've never seen a fat grandmother except for some pretty girl,we've only seen fishermen on the other side of the river, who sat every meter apart and looked at Andrey and me in surprise after I shouted-a bumblebee fly!!!!I got her!!!!

I didn't even think about her right away... In a pine tree in a fishing rod, there is a lot of it. Liparus can catch at least a dozen, from it to go there for about twenty minutes. He's supposed to be there right now, harvesting my bodies. not paid for...

Two hours ago I came from a mini expedition for Cryptorhynchus lapathi?
Not a single specimen,it's found on the alder tree, isn't it?I used to think that in the willows? If anyone knows how to catch I will only be glad, and then different thoughts come to mind smile.gif
Caught again with 50 trubkovertov on a blooming pear
Nutcrackers under the bark of a shrunken willow (such never awkward with a black spot)
Chernortelki three, the second year I watch???
I found a cluster of 8 brown cows on some small plant 20 cm (some kind of future bush (before that, too, I did not catch))

Blackbirds of the genus Nalassus. Where was it caught, under the bark or on the ground? Cryptorhynchus lapathi appears a little later in terms of timing, usually only in mid-June. So maybe it's just not the season yet. Collect, yes, on young twigs of shrubby willows and young alders .

There are two black bodies under the bark and one on the pear tree

Cryptorhynchus lapathi I caught last year on May 15,for some reason I decided that it was the last and their season ended on May 15, maybe it started on May 15

Today I willows with 20 dry knocked and umbrella substituted and alder trees 20 lol.gif
