You don't need to go far for THIS nonsense, and the places where it is found are usually accessible.

As far as I can see, the first assumption was still correct - this is a male pretender (Ptinus sp.)

It turned out to be Ptinus fur (opr. R. Gerasimov)

It depends on what the weather is like. For example, today it is sunny and quite warm (about +10-15). I've already seen active butterflies, and the other day even a nondescript moth flew into the light through the window...

And today Barry and I saw a bunch of lemongrass trees on the edges of a pine forest...

I had a good walk in the woods today. There were a lot of anguloptera, I saw at least 10, but I can't say exactly how many )
I found a few subcortical cute beetles and a couple of bomabrdiers and other ground beetles, as well as Meloe decolorata in the forest. Spring has begun, friends!

PS. photo report later, when the beetles are unfrozen )

March 29, near Feodosia. Clear, about +15, light wind.
Irises, forget-me-nots, levkoi, red-seeded dandelion, muscari, fringed ptitsemlechenik, spring adonis, yarutki, kostenets, vesnyanki, hornbill are blooming, the Bieberstein tulip is preparing to bloom.
There were a lot of different small animals, spiders, haymakers, flies, nymphs of straight-winged birds, cicadas... lizards and partridges scurry around, and crows (or rather crows) hang out on the rocks.
From beetles of the black-bodied Tentyria nomas, barbel Dorcadion cinerarium, crunch, T-shirt similar to Meloe variegatus.
Butterflies include Autophila asiatica, Digitivalva christophi, Plutella xylostella, Pieris napi, Pieris rapae, Pontia edusa, and Tomares callimachus. There was also an obscure male Colias sp., which looks like a typical crocea, but without androconia.

In the photo:
- red-seeded dandelion, irises, Bieberstein tulip, forget-me-nots, leucia
-Autophila asiatica, Pieris napi, Pieris rapae, Tomares callimachus
-Dorcadion cinerarium, Meloe variegatus(?)
- biotopes

I spread yesterday's fees (Kharkiv region, near Bezlyudovka) the remains of one stain and bedbugs with cows on the mattress (for exchange), bedbugs podkornikov scored 45 adults and 5 larvae, and some cows 118 PCs and probably missed PCs with 30-40.
As for the townsfolksmile.gif, we thought that Boris and I were collecting mushrooms, although we saw how two ladies of the bigwigs
collected Barry's photos in more detail...

I'm working... the pine forest wasn't even finished yet... smile.gif I will obviously make a page on my site and give you a link, and then I started here, something broke.

This is Exochomus quadripustulatus (L., 1758), the first one I catch ...sat after wintering (before lunch) on a pine tree, then actively flies

This year I have only picked pine podkorniks (based on the name under the pine bark), almost any pine tree is affected by them, also beautiful, but they are up to 5 mm at most.
