Not very much. In the Lviv region, did not come across. In the east of the Ternopil region, where the climate is more continental, I caught 4 dead mice that fell into a trap. ( in three traps)
But N. humator, we really have a lot.

Due to the lack of company, I went to the dacha to a friend in M. Dmitrovichi (, (N50°512.518’, E030°31.875’) 50 km from Kiev, lamp DRV250, caught from 21-00 to 00-30 and before dawn what was collected.
There were a lot of butterflies, but a lot of battered ones(4 species of Noctua, X. baja, etc.)
From fresh-A. centrago, E. virgo(this generally seems to be only found in the West of Ukraine), Ph. methiculosa, L. vitelina-what is luck.
In addition,there were many fresh X. xanthographa, L. pallens & albipuncta.L.oleracea. T. cespitis.
Other groups include hawkmoth-bindweed and small pink, dipper-cunea, Drepanidae-W. binaria,Geometridae-E. autumnaria, Lasiocampidae-O. pruni, Notodontidae-N. dromedarius.
About a dozen mantises arrived to hunt
In the previous report I forgot to mention the arrival of Thecla betulae (Bukryn) P. c-album (M. Starosillya)-this is not the first case in practice, one of the marshmallows in my collection was also caught in the light.

Carabus (Tachypus) cancellatus durus n. ungensis (Brzezina taxonomy)
Carabus (Carabus) granulatus
And a little-studied, local species of Carabus.(Morphocarabus) scheidleri ronayi Csiki, 1906
Note
If someone has "hampei" from Transcarpathia ,take a closer look .Perhaps these beetles are not such.
scheidleri ronayi is very similar in appearance to hampei. Differences can only be seen in a large series or at the genital level. (Nothing to do with the comptus hampei group). The border of the area conventionally runs along the linni of the city of Mukachevo. East-hampei, west-scheidleri ronayi,

I think Procrustes and violaceus are the best!

we have these types of background (although I don't really like this word.)
Except that the form of violaceus wolffi is somewhat rare.
Whether it is a form or a subspecies remains to be seen . Large torn arel, biotope-steppe and meadow, high-altitude meadows of Romania (where it was described) I assume that after all, this is a morph from the nominative, which has just begun to form . Moreover, steppe individuals are the most variegated in color.

So, Fedorenko, for example, did not distinguish. This explains the fact that in the list of ground beetles of the Moscow region, the species is given one copy each.

Interestingly, and Orlov V. A. (Ground beetles of the genus Carabus in the Moscow region. Nauka, 1983) distinguished? I haven't seen this work myself.

With the help of Google, you can get some kind of "translation", in addition, I have not seen light dilutates here ,and otymnata have a matte gloss-these are additional signs, they mostly work.

I caught a female poplar cocoonworm today.Hurray! I didn't pervert getting eggs-the species is not particularly rare, and I don't have time.
Here is a brief report from the last few days:
21.10.08-male Ptilophora plumigera in the south of the Belgorod region,
22.10.08-female P. plumigera - in the forest, in the vicinity of Kharkiv, during the day-rarely fly to the light
Catching on the light in the evening of the same day:
- 4 males P. roruli,
- moth Colotis pennaria, Oporinia dilutata, Operophtera brumata, E. defoliaria.
24.10.08-light fishing in the suburbs:
-1 male and 1 female P. populi
-moth E. defoliaria and O. brumata
-1 male P. plumigera-something this year is not very massive in our species.
Complete absence of any scoops...
I consider the lack of finds of Lemonia dumi to be a failure of the autumn season, and no one came across it on the forum, judging by the reports. If someone caught it, please share your information.

01.11 the season may already close, or the weather may still be favorable. Bukryn , (N49°57,223’, E031°18,106’), fog, raasseyalsya somewhere to 19-30 flew very well until 20, later worse, but until the morning, all night+11, DRV 250 lamp and periodically turned on the bacterocidal 30 watts.
As a result ,we have
a massive sample of E. transversa , all very fresh, it was probably possible to collect up to fifty.
A dozen and a half fresh From rubiginosa, how many, but flying A. macilenta. In addition, up to a dozen C. vaccinii and A segetum, one specimen each of N. asiatica, H. rostralis, A. gamma, A. ipsilon, A. cicellaris, M. albipuncta, and H. armigera.
Arrived flying a little P. populi
Moth was not enough-with a dozen Epirrita in my opinion both species, O. Brumata one ex ?( maybe early yet), 3 specimens of Ch. citrata, one specimen of E. defoliaria A. aurantiaria (in the morning)
Micro is not enough –a couple of some pterophorides and a few napkins. A lot of all sorts of diptera and webs, beetles-no one

The beginning of December was warm and quite sunny. And so, on one of these days, on the 6th (sunny, +16), I decided to check if there was anything bulavous on the warm seaside slope located between the houses of my village and the embankment. From the south, this slope is warmed by the sea and the sun, from the north, five-story buildings protect.
It turned out that I didn't even go for nothing. Two female Colias crocea, a female Aricia agestis and a pair of Lampides boeticus (male and female) were found. Such an unexpected winter abundance! Photos are attached wink.gif
