Dmitry! I've got it in a tightly closed box, lazy to open. Shot that about five years ago (even rather scanned).
No, well, what is not an entomologist (in the eyes of the masses)? Photos from here - Durimar statue in Kiev Zoo as for me, it looks like L. A. Shelyuzhko(left) and Y. P. Nekrutenko (right): This post was edited by palvasru4ko - 02/28/2011 20: 17
Well, let it be like this then. As for differences between claudina subspecies and also other species, I fully agree.
Evgeny Karolinsky's comment is moved from the species photo page to the description one. I'd like to pay attention once more to that: on the species photo page you may discuss the very shot, is it good or not, what species is on it. Vitali, the catalog - the types and in the gallery - photography. I think you are a little confusing variety of choice for both. Sort by year in the directory - sorting, the description of the type, for example, Linnaeus ... And for months - in the same directory have selected.Indication of hours and minutes (for the photo?) Optional, and giving - giving information about the time of the activity ...

But the more complete set of colors and the unusual colors (eg, green), the better the system works. This, by itself, the color of it is not necessary to count on a sure sign to determine, but the help it can ...
Questionable ssp. suellus, Staudinger, 1878: some authors move it to porcellus synonyms, others (e. g., Catalogue of the Lepidoptera of Russia, 2008) consider it as a species itself. Also, the Catalogue says that suellus is expanded in Siberia (Baikal region), so it's a question who can be in Astrakhan region then.
