Acleris forsskaleana.
Cosmia trapezina.
Heliothis viriplaca.
Epicallima formosella, erred to put a question mark instead of a comma in the previous comment, used English keyboard layout :)
Epicallima formosella? What's confusing is the black dot up the wing upperside, albeit, no other similar species in the area :)
Acleris forsskaleana.
Catocala fulminea.
Pheosia gnoma.
Pheosia gnoma.
Yep, the more, it's Pheosia gnoma.
Perhaps, Crambus pascuellus.
Some Crambus, I'll try to check it out.
Error, this is another Pyralidae.
Right:).
All the rest occur to spot Amphipyra pyramidea whilst berbera is a rare thing.
Amphipyra berbera.
Amphipyra berbera.
Amphipyra berbera.
Congratulations, this is Amphipyra berbera.
What it is 1 cm? The wingspan size, one wing or the body? :) It's not about sizes anyway. According to Noctuidae Europaeae, vol. 13, there are two Chelis species in the North Caucasus — maculosa honesta and cecilia cecilia, the latter has usually more active black pattern on its hindwings. I'd doubt the accuracy of identification even as the moth was spread.
Chelis cecilia, the identification questionable.
Using exceptions, can suppose this is a Doloploca genus moth which is in two species in Primor'ye one of those I know, Doloploca praeviella, what's not to be this, then it should be Doloploca buraetica. :) Not certain identification.
Identification is wrong, this is Ochlodes sylvanus.
Dendrolimus superans.
Catocala agitatrix.
This species is identified correctly.
This species is identified correctly.
Good suggestion.
Agree with Evgeny.
This species is identified correctly.
Moscowites' favourite moth, Chrysoteuchia culmella.
Ptycholoma lecheana? if it's actually there, meh if not.
Isn't it Chrysoteuchia culmella, is it?
Siona lineata.
As I see, this is Lycaena dispar female.
Petr, don't be idle. :) Please, name its in full, Deilephila elpenor
:)
This species is identified correctly.
Not as that identified, this is Issoria lathonia.
It's not.
Tatyana, there are three more images of this Geometridae, please, identify them either, otherwise they might stick since Petr may not associate them all together. :)
Chrysoteuchia culmella, quite popular moth in Moscow :)
Seems to be.
This species is identified correctly.
There is nothing to say just it could be Archips xylosteana as the neighbouring one. In case if these two moths were shot together :)
