  • Achillides arcturus. [PC81].

Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Wingspan 95-110 mm. UpH is similar to P. paris but HW diascal patch is more blue, entered the cell, covering base of spaces 4, 5 and 6, extending to conjoin with submarginal spots in spaces 6 and 7, tornal spot red with a black spot in the centre and with two submarginal red spots in spaces 4 and 5. Male UpF lacks of androconial streaks. Female is larger and green postdiscal band is more prominent than in the male. [144].
