Thank you very much! That's just Calliptamus italicus something does not look like

He is this, he is.

And here is the third photo - Euchorthippus pulvinatus.
And the eighth - looks like a nymph Pholidoptera griseoaptera
Yes, and the 12th - not a nymph nifiga.

Guys, please see if I've identified the beast correctly. I myself am interested in this (such people come from Egypt and visit me from time to time).

In general, it looks like it, although usually the nymphs of an Egyptian filly are green.

My imago is just that color. Well, it is healthy (it will be bigger than locusts).

1, 3, and most likely 5 - Chorthippus biguttulus. 2 - Ch. apricarius. 4-Chrysochraon dispar, and very strange: a male with the color of a female (in fact, this species has a sharp sexual dimorphism in color).

Glyphonotus larva, I think. Although I haven't seen their larvae live, I can only assume from the appearance of the imago. It is interesting that the late PI Marikovsky once published a photo of the same handsome man in his popular book, only he defined it completely incorrectly - as Ephippiger.

P. S. I didn't notice the Dracus message, but I determined it independently, which increases the chances that it is correct smile.gif

And this is clearly an imago. It turns out to be a short-winged species, like G. uvarovi. On glyphonotes in the pre-war years, the article Miram was published, so there is a chance to determine more precisely.

Good afternoon! I continue to hope for the determination of a filly from Zimbabwe:

Experts say (+PVOzerski-respect smile.gif) that this is a male Dictyophorus spumans(Thunberg, 1787) (Pyrgomorphidae), known as the koppie foam grasshopper. This is an extremely polymorphic species, so you are unlikely to find photos with this coloring on the web - mostly posted photos from South Africa, apparently from western regions, which have a pronounced warning color (toxic foam is released in case of danger). In the eastern part of South Africa, the species is painted in olive green tones, and in Zimbabwe - gray as in the photo.

Thank you again so much! We were impressed.
Does this larva belong to the same species? Photos were taken in the same place.
