Neither the first or second object is a butterfly caterpillar:
1-The larva of some sawfly
2-Possibly the larva of some fly.
Both objects are most likely undefined before the view.

Unfortunately, not everyone overwintered. frown.gif
Moscow region, Orekhovo-Zuyevsky district, pos.Poplar, peat bog, on common whitewash (Andromeda polifolia) 6.08.2013, then switched it to birch.

As far as I understand, the second one is the larva of a weevil (Tipulidae).

I have my doubts, I considered her as a candidate. In caterpillars of almost all ages of this species, a yellow line (or series of spots) is visible along the ridge.
On Coscinia cribraria, too, does not seem to pull. confused.gif

If your office is located in Eurasia, then probably Helicoverpa armigera.
