Probably not her, the size is not the same. In general, after searching the Internet, I decided that this is something like Dahlica triquetrella (Hübner, 1813). The photo is not visible, but I noticed that some paws, elytra, and other parts of insects are stuck on the cover.

I thought it was something like Dahlica triquetrella (Hübner, 1813).

As far as I understand, the genus Dahlica covers have a length of about 5 mm and a triangular cross-section. Do you have something closer to Rebelia sp.

23.07.2014 19:26, RoPro

Please tell me what kind of caterpillar it is. The size is about 5 mm. Moscow region, July 19.

Well, its cross-section is more or less triangular. But 5mm is certainly not the case. In general, a mystery.

Can you help me identify the types of caterpillars? Thank you in advance!!!)

it has darkened overnight, what does it mean, it has become maroon and almost does not move? it lies in a semicircle. Since we found her next to a birch tree, I gave her some birch leaves , but she doesn't eat them

The fact that it has darkened - - - maybe it will pupate, although it is very strange that it does not move confused.gif
If anything, you need earth for pupation, they bury themselves in it.

Well, wow, how similar are the caterpillars of completely different butterflies. Most likely it is, i.e. Cybosia mesomella. We have plenty of these butterflies, especially this year.

Therefore, it is better to upload (and make) photos from different angles (full face, profile, and sometimes puzechko)
The gooseneck has a dark red head and legs, while the lichen has a dark brown head and legs. Otherwise, they are very similar.
