Surroundings of Kirovo-Chepetsk, Kirov region..
..

1- Arge sp.
2-not Rhogogaster and not from Tenthredininae at all - not the number of transverse folds. It is from another subfamily-Allantinae. Probably from the Empria family.
3 - a different species, but also Empria or Ametastegia. If she eats meadowsweet, then most likely Empria.

Tell me - is this a Clover cocoonworm? Smolensk (okr.) June. Thanks for the tip. And what age is that?

not quite, this is Pachygastria cocles, it has such caterpillars with characteristic white strokes on top. Hence the question - is this exactly a photo of a caterpillar from Smolensk or "I took it from the network, it looks like the one I saw"? Just cockles is not in our area, it is a much more southern view.

So sorry for the long silence and thank you for your reply. No, the photo is not from the network. But I didn't find a Russian equivalent for Pachygastria cocles. If it's not exactly a Cloverleaf, then it's almost "some other cocoonworm", but which one? In a village near Bryansk, I find Clovers and caterpillars every year. - but they somehow have a more powerful "muzzle", which is why this question arose.
And this one - brought home - in a box with grass-through nesk. days began to twist the cocoon-unfinished - got out of it-half turned into a chrysalis-twitches from time to time-oh, and the monster will turn out soon!!!! A caterpillar with wings !!
