Hello again, today I found some caterpillars that I haven't seen before. I did some Googling and I think I found out who it is:
user posted image
Similar to Monema flavescens, was on a daylily. In the same family, I found a caterpillar that is similar to the one I saw earlier, Parasa consocia. The area is suitable.
But I can't figure out how to find this pile:

On home-grown grapes, if the leaf is disturbed, the caterpillars begin to quickly descend on a spider web. Please tell me who knows.

So colorful, really... What sources do you focus on?

It's not about the color, it's about the lines wink.gif
The caterpillar has darkened, so it is going to pupate.

I didn't take photos from other angles, which I regret now. Well, I did not distract from the mealsmile.gif, but it seems to me that this is not an American white butterfly, but some kind of volnyanka or bear, I have already met such, they come across on weeds in shady places in the yard, on bushes. Here I found a similar one (Diaphora mendica), but it has a caterpillar without a black stripe..

And here just to clarify: do I understand correctly that this is the same Cossus cossus that is higher on the page, just a small one yet?)

The first caterpillar is most likely Melanchra persicariae (Linnaeus, 1761)
