I can't seem to send the message - it's going somewhere. I'll try again. This caterpillar was sitting on ivan-tea, on Lake Baikal, in August.

The stripe on the back is very similar to luctifera.

Coscinia striata has the same stripe on its back. If it were the case in the Crimea, I would say that it is exactly what it is. By the way, this year in our region this species has an outbreak of numbers.

Hello, whose caterpillar is this? Moscow oblast. Mixed forest. It was found on my clothes, and I don't know where it came from. But the pattern is probably specific to the species. 7.9.8. Thank you.

The first is the bear. In the Crimea, this is what Ocnogyna parasita looks like, the caterpillar is found in May.

On Varshavka, it is difficult to find something that they could harm. Even mosquitoes don't fly here.

Fig. 1 ringed cocoonworm
Fig. 7 linden hawk moth
fig. 5 sawfly's false caterpillar
fig. 6 kokonpryad too, but what, I do not know.
I apologize for my lack of Latin, but I'm working on beetles. But I'm sure of what I said.

Number 6 is a grass cocoonworm, we have plenty of them. Just be careful! They often get sick and can infect other caterpillars. At me this year because of the infection brought by them to a butterfly stage only 2 bears Kaya from 9 survived. umnik.gif
