And most likely the Helicoverpa armigera will be released:)

02.11.2012 10:12, okoem

We are responsible for those we have tamed - what should I do with it? Maybe this is a unique product and someone needs it? What will happen to her? And what should I do?

This is really an H. armigera caterpillar.
You are very much mistaken if you think that you have tamed it. Take it outside (you can take it with gerbera) and put it in the grass - it will figure out what to do.

In the Mytischinsky forest park, a huge number of such larvae gather in clusters mainly in wet places. What is it and who needs to be notified about this disaster? Perhaps this has something to do with the loss of forests in Elk Island?picture: DSC3364.jpg

Sorry, if not in the subject.
Are these surveyor's larvae?
If so, can they be filled with gasoline and put in the furnace?

08.11.2012 21:04, Guest

a topographer is, in the sense of a typographer?
If yes, then no.
Instead of this pile of mala, you would rather shoot one, but close-up and from all sides.

These are larvae of the thick-legged mosquito family Bibionidae.

I'm sorry, it's certainly not Cephalcia sp. "the plant is not the same, and the behavior is not the same.
But the family is the same - Pamphilidae. Probably one of the genera Pamphilius, Onycholyda.

I found a caterpillar in November, crawling along the road. Thailand

What is it called and what does it eat?
It looks poisonous: the color is bright, there are spikes and gives off transparent drops next to the spikes

On the sides are red balls, thorns like twigs. There are horns on the muzzle. On the body iridescent beautiful blue spots

user posted imageuser posted image

In another thread they said that maybe this nymphalida

12.11.2012 16:12, nikittokkk

Well, yes, nymphalida. Personally, it reminds me a lot of our Nymphalis io. But I didn't seem to see any" iridescent beautiful blue spots " in them.

Good evening! Please help me identify this caterpillar in Latin? August 16, 2012, roc. Chisinau.
