A couple of times I tried to spread the wings of my Nutcrackers, but unfortunately so far without success.

The promised beetles, the most common ones (I can't afford to get so worked up over someone more serious). I advise you to type some banal stuff and practice, so that you don't feel offended by the ruined material.

Beetles spread their wings exclusively for decorative purposes. So especially on this topic should not be driven.

29.01.2011 23:17, captolabrus

He spread out grillotalpa, mantises, and various beetles. I did the following: I straightened the limbs of an insect fixed on a piece of styrofoam, pins either short or deeply inserted so that they did not stick out high above the plane of the styrofoam. Next, I cut out l-shaped bars from dense material, brought them to the object's body , and fixed them with the same pins, it turned out. that the legs are under the bars, and the wings can be put on top and spread out like on the planks of a wooden straightener, which was done with them.

Beetles spread their wings exclusively for decorative purposes. So we don't need to be particularly focused on this topic.

Especially not necessary, but when necessary, I would like to straighten out according to the canons.

Something like that, just stronger. You need to make a special two-level straightening machine.

For beetles, what are the canons (spreading wings in mind)? There are none in my opinion or I don't know.

spread out according to the canons.

According to the classics, beetles spread out after pricking in the right elytra.

Something like this. And the legs are average fun look forward, and do not drag behind lol.gifIn General, slightly improved appearance. So no straighteners for beetles are needed. That's for all the cicadas.... there's a slightly different technique.

Hm.... It is not bad to put pieces of styrofoam under it. It will be necessary to adopt it. Because I've always done this, but it's longer.

You don't seem to appreciate the work of a crackdown worker at all. Especially judging by the prices in your online store.

I will spread 100 beetles efficiently for 50 euros.

And in my opinion-1 euro, quite a normal price. The cost of unpacking has always been so appreciated. And the amount of money that the product will then go for should not affect the price of unfolding a beetle or butterfly in any way.

The ideal straightening of a very small beetle (2-4mm), perhaps, will be more expensive.

Ruslan, I don't dispute that. beer.gif
In the spread of insects, too, may have its own characteristics. I'm talking about working on a thread. Of course, each case has its own exceptions. Take, for example, the usual T-shirt (Meloe violaceus). It should be cut, gutted, disinfected, stuffed with cotton wool and, only then, straightened. Of course, this is not 40 rubles! But, in most cases, 40 rubles per copy. normal price. A person (any person) can freely spread 25 beetles in a whole day. Without straining. And this is 1000 rubles. Very good earnings for many regions of our country.

Nikolai, the problem is not to spread 25 beetles a day, but to sell 25 beetles a day... Therefore, such calculations are poorly combined with the realities of life.

for 8 days off a month, you can spread 100 insects, IMHO
, and for a student, for example, this will be an increase to the scholarship.

Mikhail, the question was that the spread of 1 insect (do not take the extreme, average) it's very cheap. In this case, the distributor should not be particularly concerned about where and for how much the customer will sell the manufactured goods. There is an order: 100 insects per month for the amount of 4000 rubles. This is a normal price. Allowance for pensions, scholarships, etc.
Of course, a person with a salary of 50 thousand will not do this, but for a student, it is quite acceptable.

Friends!

Everyone agreed that this was only 4,000 rubles a month. In fact, the number of insects spread and the price of one spread are average indicators.

Naturally, a complex unpacking will cost much more.
A hundred insects a month is a guaranteed amount.

Let's start with 4000-5000 rubles a month, and if everything goes well, you can get about 15-20 thousand rubles a month. And this is already a good income.

It's like getting a job - first training and probation, and then life!

P.S.: Do not offer a 10 euro tongue.gifpayment

Friends! As you know, there are certain rules for spreading beetles. Tell me, how should the antennae of the nutcrackers be directed after straightening? Forward or backward? Or is it someone who likes it? Share your experience.

15.07.2011 8:43, ALEKSANDER

Good morning everyone. Please tell me, is it possible to spread insects on a board with a groove hollowed out in the middle? Already in this way, I spread out 9 butterflies, including a swallowtail. If you can't catch all the butterflies in your collection, what's the point? Thank you in advance!

15.07.2011 11:44, OEV

Sasha why catch new ones, if the wings did not descend and spread out symmetrically. And if you have a good straightener, you can also re-straighten it.

Straightening the sawyere "forward" is more likely to break them off when stored in the collection. For these reasons, it is better to direct them "back" along the edge of the pronotum. Although, if you do not prick the beetles and do not stick them on a small die "under the side", but glue them "entirely" on a die that exceeds the size of the beetle itself, this is not relevant.

Dear Alexey - just for you !!!
We will spread any coleoptera from 10 millimeters or more (but not less),
at the price of spreading-10 rubles per copy ( this is the price of spreading ).
The cost of a needle and two labels made of paper 230gr., and printed on a laser
printer will be charged separately according to the order volume.

And how much, approximately, will be the price of a needle, two labels and printing on a printer?

22.07.2011 16:34, Вишняков Алексей

Thank you. One more question. 10 rub., this is as I understand it, straightening on a pin? I'm also interested in unpacking and mounting to a die.
Dies and pins are your own. You only need to stick it on.
In general, an interesting offer!

22.07.2011 16:44, collector

If you spread 100 copies, the price of 1 needle is 1.50 + 2 labels and another 1 ruble.
From this comes the full price of 12 rubles and 50 kopecks (for those who are particularly meticulous
, I will immediately say that the installation of the beetle on a die or flag, as well as the installation of labels under the beetle on the needle, is completely free of charge).
I hope that now all really interested people will write
on this topic at zoocollection@narod.ru.

Hello dear forum participants!
Please tell me how best to fix the bug on the foam for straightening without pricking, so that it does not wobble from side to side, which greatly hinders and complicates straightening. For now, I cut a thin strip of polyethylene and fix it across the beetle's elytra. But this does not help very well, and it also interferes with the straightening of the middle legs.
In addition, this is unacceptable for small beetles.
And the second question. How to fix the antennae of carabuses so that their tips do not bend in a turn, but go straight and parallel to each other.
Thanks!
