I wonder what kind of views (which I circled). Especially the right extreme large gray-blue golubyanka smile.gifWell, thick-headed ones too smile.gif

Tough guy! lol.gif
Two lower thickheads, podi, Muschampia tessellum
Chervonets - Heodes tityrus and Thersamonolycaena alciphron
And with golubyanki fit sweepstakes to arrange.
My bid on the rightmost row, from top to bottom: amanda, ikarus or tercites, two argyrognomones.

17.06.2007 19:56, RippeR

Thank you all!
Muscampia tesselum and proto seemed smaller to me.. So I asked myself kaike and from where smile.gif
And Amandus did not recognize at all smile.gifI fancied some plebeian, but I had no match. lol.gif
generally not bad smile.gif

17.06.2007 20:34, Zhuk

Most likely Amanda, but there are certain doubts. Post, if possible, a photo of the underwear.

What are you getting drunk on? This is Plebicula amandus.

Oh! I see some goodies smile.gif
Arichanna melanaria, Tephrina arenacearia - never met!
Petrophora chlorosata - in England it is plentiful, but in the Moscow region it is rare.
Both species of Lythria sp.. L. cruentaria is common, but the more southern L. purpuraria I only came across in the Ryazan region.

I have a small collection, but a lot of boxes. I do it myself as much as I want. Therefore, I make out as you like.

The collection is not big, but there are good views! But it is desirable to spread the beetles better - this is more beautiful.
What is the box-making method?

Figase! I have only 3 views.

20.07.2007 20:38, RippeR

Zygaena ephialtes never saw it frown.gif
And how do you define them? I once tried, it seems to converge, but I think there is still a lot to open smile.gif

I design and produce outdoor (visual) advertising. From window display applications to neon. This is my bread. All boxes are made of plastic, foam on the bottom, plexiglass on top. Nilson held them in his hands, said-fine. I've identified a bunch of beetles from my collection, and in Latin, too!!!
The collection is clearly not all of it... I'll make out the rest, I'll slowly hang out for review.

Figase! I have only 3 types
Here and I, "figase", also have three types, but all from the south. Inspire your pestryanochki!!!

21.07.2007 14:08, RippeR

I have about 4-5 types of mottled flowers.. although if you distribute the numbers separately, there may be more.. But it certainly can't compare with svm in any way smile.gif

Clyde:
is plastic expensive?? It would be interesting, of course, to look at it, so, according to the photo, the boxes are not very clear frown.gifat all - a big problem for me.. We don't do anything normal, carpenters are bastards, they don't want to take on such work, they don't want to cut boxes 2:4 in baguettes, either because it's too hot, or they can't (although they can't in baguette workshops!) And such plastic, corton itself do not understand how to do.. Especially how to fix glass smile.gif

21.07.2007 22:15, клайд

Almost any problem can be solved. Specialists from the circus manage to teach adult bears to ride motorcycles smile.gif, but a person can learn everything. You buy material, a couple of lessons-a masterclass. You start, you try, you make mistakes, you correct yourself , and you have all the boxes you want. On average, a 30x40 box comes out in 12-15 criminal units, depending on the complexity of the cover system. You can fix the glass in different ways, this is the main difficulty, but it is also perfectly solved. If the order is large, you buy the material in sheets and the cost price drops by a third.
And how to understand "in baguettes do not want to cut boxes 2: 4"?

21.07.2007 22:31, RippeR

Yeah.. still, the cost of boxes comes out solid enough..
They make frames in baguettes.. They can make a frame with a height of 6 cm, but they don't want to cut it (i.e., cut these 6 cm into 4 cm and 2 cm) to get a box out of the frame (with subsequent processing..).. And in general, according to stories (I don't remember exactly who told me) in Russia, even in Moscow, order a cropped baguette is cheaper than with us.. Zadralis just our bastards-they think that the most important ones, so they can fill any price they want frown.gif

21.07.2007 23:09, клайд

I don't know how to make a baguette, I didn't work with such material. From plastic (PVC) I can make a box in three hours, and if it is very good - you need five hours. Up to a horseradish of time you need to spend running around the markets in search of suitable elements (foam, profile and other tops). Yes, and you need to work sometime, otherwise diric will scold smile.gif.

great collection!

02.08.2007 21:36, taler

Still, please enlighten me-why insert several identical views into the collection?! confused.gif Well, the male with the female is clear, some kind of variability-too...
But to "score" so many butterflies in one box...I'm not limited to 2 or 3 butterflies in fishing,of course, but the rest is for exchange.
Enlighten me, maybe I don't understand what?!

02.08.2007 21:40, Pavel Morozov

I quote "The Little Atlas of Butterflies", J. Tykac, Prague, 1959.
"The collection should include as many specimens of each species as possible, so that it is clear what the variation amplitude of the pattern and wing color of this species is in the study area. many collectors have had and still have the habit of having a couple, four or ten specimens of each species in their collection, regardless of whether these specimens come from one particular area or from different countries. This is wrong. for the collection, you need to leave as many copies of one type as we have different forms of it, and note in the file how many different forms are found in relative numbers."
like that.

For those families that I work with, I am interested in a number of things: forage plants of the species, distribution in the area, when they fly (spring type, spring-summer, summer). In general, biological aspects. Very interesting.
So I have, for example, bees of the same species can have several dozen instances (fortunately, bees take up much less space than butterflies)

I can at least take a picture of everyone in turn and put them in close-up - just tell me what smile.gif
To be honest, I didn't have much of a buzzing coalection.. The fact is that the majority is badly straightened out and all that.. I wanted to rearrange, replace a lot of things, but I need pins and all sorts of nonsense (for example, such nonsense as time smile.gif) I'll put it out a little later.

Ilya: Yes, the very first one - the fathead from Vietnam..

Denis: Can I tell you the names of the species if you are interested or just take a picture? There, most of them are exchanged..

22.08.2007 23:19, Nilson

And where will the passalids come from in k6?
