There are different goals here. A roof sewn from the fabric keeps insects rising up, but when it rains, it will leak and water will get on the lamp, A removable "roof" made of waterproof or water-repellent fabric is used to protect the lamp from moisture. Moreover, these are not interchangeable things, you can put protection on the cloth "roof"during the rain. This option has already been tested in practice-it works. Well, you need to remember that small drops are not terrible for DRL and housekeepers, but DRV and incandescent lamps explode even from small splashes.

There seemed to be one left. If there is, we will bring it back...

I really hope I haven't been able to buy it for several years. I will definitely come to your table and ask about it wink.gif

We are starting to make custom equipment not only for entomologists, but also for botanists. Made of metal, plexiglass, plastic, fabric, cardboard, wood, etc. If anyone knows any specialists in plants, please pass on the information. First-time customers always have particularly pleasant conditions, plus, as a rule, free samples — if the customer has a sensible TOR.
For more information, call 8-800-775-60-95 (toll-free intercity from any phone in the Russian Federation).

I do not know I catch many years on the DRV in the rain without protection, I have not ruined a single lamp yet.

I do not know I have been fishing for many years on the DRV in the rain without protection, I have not ruined a single lamp yet.

It's just amazing, we have losses every year. frown.gif flasks burst both at 160 and 250 W only, it is worth missing the beginning of the rain as soon as "Bang"

And does the store intend to expand the range of transparent dies?

And does the store intend to expand the range of transparent dies?
I intend to. As soon as we do not have another attempt to produce them on our own, we will make another delivery of the sphinx:--)

We took several photos at the exhibition (unfortunately, I only had my phone with me). During the week, we'll take more and more decent photos and put them on the site, but for now, we'll have preliminary information and pictures.
General information:
New duralumin nets with compound handles (plus fixed-length handles) and folding hoops (plus fixed ones).

Composite handles: a section to which the hoop is attached + a section with a handle + an arbitrary number of intermediate sections. The lengths of the sections that we are doing now are 40 and 60 cm (we can make any of them to order). See the photo below.
We make handles that are compatible with the hoops of the following fasteners:
- M6 (can be found on nets from the Czech Republic, popular in Russia Entosfinks).
- M8 (can be found on nets from Japan, China, USA).
- Naturaliste mounting with a slot (blocking untwisting during operation).
- Quick-release Naturaliste mount (can be removed/put on the handle in one movement).

Fixed handles — options with the same types of fasteners (there are no photos yet).

Aluminum folding and fixed hoops. Diameter from 30 to 50 cm. We can make any other one to order.

Tubular fixed hoops. Diameter from 30 to 50 cm. We can make any other one to order.

A hoop with a quick-release attachment. Diameter from 30 to 50 cm. We can make any other one to order.

On hoops it is possible to put on usual bags, bags for mowing and water bags of our production, Entosfinks bags and also any other bags for detachable hoops.

Pictures:

General view. The net is a composite handle consisting of three sections of 40 cm each. Folding hoop with a diameter of 40 cm, fastening with a promotion lock. Khaki bag 40 cm (taken against the background of the night screen):

General view. The net is a composite handle consisting of two sections. Entosfinks mowing hoop and bag (M6 mount):

Three sections of a composite handle of 40 cm each, unassembled. You can put together (3x40), you can make two of them (2x40), you can put an arbitrary number of intermediate sections (for example, 5x40), you can combine them in any order with sections of 60 cm, you can use them as a single-section version (1x40), but this will be less convenient than a fixed handle of 40 cm:

Two sections of a composite handle of 60 cm in disassembled form. The usage options are the same as for 40 cm above.

Fixed quick-release hoop, can be removed in one movement from the handle, fastening with unwinding lock:

The non-quick-release tube looks the same, only without the nozzle on the tail.

I saw one of our provincial madame "big ecologist" very interesting literally POCKET net-fits in your pocket... when unfolded, it is quite a working small net with a sliding handle... the main feature of the hoop is that it is round from some tricky "steel" you put it in a figure eight then you bring these rings together and you can easily stuff them into your jacket pocket... It's like for walking - what if something interesting comes across! I asked where they got it - at some environmental seminar in Moscow with foreigners (the net seems to be American) with practical excursions into the nature of the Moscow region... in the end, the equipment on display was literally distributed to everyone... How many did not ask to give-change-sell and did not give the old pepper shaker (she nafig not need it when she was engaged in kolembolami and now a pensioner...). With a kind of frivolous something and in the hands of a practical and very convenient thing... I still don't understand what the hoop is made of... Are these available for sale? How many times have I regretted it in: the city, at the dacha, on a fishing trip, and so on.... that there is no such "frivolous" seemingly thing at hand...

Oleg, the Japanese have such nets - the company is called Shiga, but there the prices are appropriate. And the hoop is made of steel spring-loaded tape. I have such a homemade one, I can post a photo if you are interested. In terms of convenience - a wonderful thing, the truth fits in your pocket.

Yes, this is really a very convenient thing, especially for those who do not want to glow with a net . Folds up instantly and fits in your pocket. It is produced by the American company BioQuip. Google and find their website, where you can buy all their equipment online. These nets cost less than $ 20 - a hoop with a short handle and a bag. There are 2 hoop sizes available. Delivery to Moscow - about $ 50

There is a spring-loaded steel belt for lawn mower and chainsaw starters. It twists into a small ring. Only I understood that every time the bag should be removed

28.03.2018 10:17, tiger33

Azar, and at what price are nets planned with a folding hoop and fixing from unwinding, a composite stick? And about the netting on the bags. Did you have a khaki mesh on the bags at the exhibition, is it like this everywhere or is there a less rough one?

tiger33, prices for nets from the current batch can be viewed here: http://naturaliste.ru/catalog/s205 in addition, you can collect your own version by going through the sections with handles, hoops, etc.
Starting with the next delivery, prices may change slightly.
As for the softness of the grid, khaki is slightly different from white, but not globally. They are both noticeably softer than the modern Entosphinx and were selected for a good ratio of softness and strength. If you have any tips on more interesting fabrics with the same ratio, please let us know and we will look at them.

28.03.2018 13:33, tiger33

On the site, it is not clear where what hoop design is.there are no photos in the hoops section at all.

28.03.2018 14:14, Peter Khramov

So there are no photos in other sections yet, only in bags :-- )
Now while you can only see the TTX, and photos in this topic. Unfortunately, we will only post full-fledged photos on the site over the weekend.

28.03.2018 14:32, xoshAmadam

Only I understood that every time you need to remove the bag

No.
This is the same scheme used to make, for example, pop-up tents and quick-folding softboxes, just an elastic, tense metal frame that folds in a certain way and is fixed (with a cover or strap). Remove the strap from the case/unbutton it - the "spring" straightens, the net straightens.
It is usually formed in a "figure of eight", with twisting of a steel tape, and in this form it is very compact.
The bag does not need to be removed, only the wear on the hoop will be more than in the "normal"one.
The thing is really convenient, but you need to keep in mind that large diameters can be too soft for, for example, mowing.

28.03.2018 15:28, Peter Khramov

A couple of specific examples, then:
Handle of 3 sections of 40 cm plus a folding hoop of 40 cm with a twist lock + a long bag of 40 cm = 2790 RUB.
Handle of 2 sections of 60 cm plus folding hoop 40 cm with twist lock + long bag 40 cm = 2490 RUB.

30.03.2018 19:28, александр барышев

These nets are not for mowing umnik.gif, a net up to 40 cm in diameter comes out of the starter spring - if more than that, then it turns out to be some kind of rotten. But if the self-folding tent is disassembled (the tape is thicker there)- even 50 cm comes out perfectly. With any diameter, you need reinforcement at the base of the hoop - 10-12 centimeters-otherwise it is not a joy to catch it. So think about how to make such a miracle - I'm the first in line to buy. In the fall, I can bring it to the fair-show that I modeled it myself - maybe it will be useful

A 40cm hoop and a 40cm bag? I.e. the bag can't be twisted through the hoop?

Why won't it work? 40 cm is the diameter of the bag. The length there is more than 2 turns.

Gentlemen, I remind you who took screens and (especially) new nets with a review condition-leave this very review on the page of the corresponding product on the site or, if this is problematic for some reason, write at least to us by email store#naturaliste.ru (dog instead of bedbug) or tell us about your impressions by calling 8-800-775-60-95 (toll-free call from any Russian phone numbers).
Thank you.

Question: but you don't have any two-lamp battery lights at all? And then the season, somehow nekuzyavo... I should have, but I don't...

24.06.2018 19:32, Peter Khramov

These lamps in the latest batches (started last year) often began to come across low-quality (or just old, or stored xs as) batteries. As a result, their battery life is often much less than stated. This is not the case for everyone, but for many people, and it is very expensive to check each of them in time. Therefore, we are now completely abandoning them, as an alternative, we are sculpting single-lamp Li-Ion batteries (less in weight, more battery life, more versatile), but the sculpting process seems to be delayed (the introduction of a new model range of nets this year takes more time than expected).

What will be delayed-not happy smile.gif

Do you have any plans to replace them with standard ones, such as AA or 18650? For traps, it would be interesting...
I personally didn't like changing the diodes in the lanterns smile.gifat all

A pair of photo nets (aerial, mowing, water). One configuration option for each of them (there are others that differ in the handle, hoop, bag).
