For those who are still in the middle of the season. There is a new thing for the test. As always, with a discount for an adequate review.

Lantern to attract insects to the light

2 standard and 2 UV lamps with the peak of luminescence needed by us (and not by doctors and other similar consumers of UV lamps) within the UV range. It works both from the mains and from the built-in battery. Afigitelnaya thing, because it does not bring any humor to life at all. And in itself it is convenient/safe, and you can always tell your wife that this is a megaphone for the dacha/apartment / garage, if the lights are turned off, because the family budget of kakbe does not quite go down the drain.

Pros in brief:
SuperKPD is designed to attract insects (despite the low power, it flies even in Moscow). Autonomy without attracting the attention of collective farmers/neighbors (since the sun shines almost imperceptibly for humans). No sensor: I bought it, charged it (if necessary), and turned it on. It can be used in different modes-2 UV lamps, 1 UV, 2 regular, 1 regular, 1 UV + 1 regular.

Disadvantages:
The battery is not eternal, if you go for a couple of weeks on a hike without the possibility of recharging-this is not an option. Either option, but then you will have to take not one, but several pre-charged flashlights. And this is already weight.

P.S. The autonomy of the lamp is a very pleasant thing even if the outlet is not very far away (for example, near a dacha/rural house) - it is often convenient to throw/put/hang the lamp (by the way, it has the appropriate stands/mounts) without confusion with wires and other extension cords, and the next day just recharge it. And it's really good when you use several lights/screens close to each other.
For illustrations and details about the lamp, see the store's website: http://lepstore.ru/catalog/1928. There is also the first review (the second one will be written by Vasily Feoktistov in a few days). For MOLBIOL users — a special price of 1,900 rubles. subject to an adequate review of the lamp on the Lepstore. The offer is valid for orders made before September 12 inclusive.

It would be nice if the description on the store's website provided more detailed information about the types of lamps used and manufacturers, such as:
marking from the manufacturer of each type of lamp, the wavelength of the main component of UV radiation, which base, lamp length, battery type and capacity, life span, full charge time. Whether the power cord is included, its length, and what it looks like. Can the lamp work directly from the mains, can it be charged in parallel, or are these processes separated?
It is clear that the lamp is hybrid, but I would like to understand which company and what is made in China, and what is made in Germany.
The idea, to put it mildly, is not new, the lamps of this type 2x8W cost 500-600r in Russia, the whole trick is which lamps are included and how reliable the lamp and battery are. There is some experience in using such devices. With good lamps, you can catch, although 8W beats not far. For general illumination, I would use a separate LED umbrella light pointing down at the screen and substrate, rather than a lamp in the lantern, where I would leave 2 UV lamps.

08.09.2014 21:48, Peter Khramov

Maybe the processes are not separated. The lamp itself is Chinese, the bulbs are German. The cord, of course, is included. It is not visible in the photo, because it is removed in a special compartment. What it might look like... It is compatible with Soviet (non-Euro) sockets, if that's what you're talking about. The length is about 1 m.
The idea is to sell a ready-to-use lantern for attracting insects with the possibility of autonomous power supply. As far as I know, this idea is new in Russia. Or not new, but so far no other implementation has been seen...
For general illumination, you can use anything - it's a matter of taste. The 1+1 lamp option is just another (and often convenient) option that conforms to the all-in-one doctrine.
In the next topic, there was a question about comparing it with the popular 350 lamps. I looked at the power graph of the 350 lamp. The differences are as follows: in the range of 365-370 nm, the power of our lamps is 2 times greater than that of the 350's. At 350 nm, on the contrary, our glow goes almost to zero, and at 350 it forms a peak that descends only to 330, and goes to zero in the region of 310. In other words, our beats in the desired range are 2 times brighter, and in the unnecessary (in the direction of decreasing the wavelength) - practically not they beat me. In general, everything that was written before is only in numbers.
In the next topic, there was a question about security. I've also already written everything, now in figures: the radiation density of our light bulb is about 0.25 MW / m2. The maximum permissible limit according to Euro standards is 1 MW / m2. That is, two lamps without a ceiling can be used, and with a safety margin. But. These standards are calculated at a distance of one meter from the lamp. And, again, do not assume direct staring with unprotected eyes at the light bulb. So keep that in mind. Poryusya on the info about the duration, it became interesting to me, but it seems that either without restrictions at all or with very small ones, because standards for residential and working premises where people are constantly located...
I have already received enough personal feedback, and I have almost no questions or need for additional confirmation of information in practice. You just need to wait for people to stir up and publish reviews on the site. However, the offer for Molbiol will continue to be valid until the 12th.
Z. Y. On sale there are bags for nets of our own manufacture. The situation with reviews with them is similar to lanterns, so they do not go for a review. Just draw the attention of those who use bags from Entosfinx or Paradox, that now there are ready-made alternatives of better quality and at a lower price. The colors are now black and white, the sizes are from 30 to 50 cm
. Zz. S. There are bags made of non-standard fabric. With an enlarged hexagon mesh, khaki color. Initially, they were made for people who want to catch in the water with a regular hoop / handle. Accordingly, according to the requirements of specific people. Here I will just be interested in reviews, for which applications it is still well suited, to confirm that it is suitable not only for private tastes. Such a bag of any size of your choice will be sent for free for a review. Just don't give me a review next May.
For more images, see Net bags and in the section Entomological nets assembled on the store's website.

Uv. Asar, thank you for the additional information, but you can't sell an elephant wink.gifthat way . Some things have cleared up, but I still have questions. The main question is: why, instead of a long, incomplete and unsubstantiated description of the properties of the mysterious" our " lamp, do not give its characteristics or just a photo of the sighting part, such as, for example, a view (for some reason I can not insert a picture here, see below). Then any somewhat advanced buyer, regardless of how much he trusts your knowledge in this area, it is clear that he buys lamps, for example, manufactured by Sylvania, made in Germany, linear fluorescent type T12 with a power of 20 W under the G13 base, special for attracting insects with a maximum radiation in the region of 368 nm (BL368) etc. etc. In this case, you can get all the necessary characteristics from the Internet, here or in other places. A comparison with Sylvania Linear BL350 lamps from the manufacturer itself can also be viewed in the company's catalog (see below, cut out from PDF for simplicity and clarity). If "your" lamp belongs to the same type of lamp and is manufactured by Sylvania, then this is an F8W/T5/BL368 Linear lamp (G5 base under T5, 8 W, 288.3 mm from base to base, etc.). And here everything is clear to me: how effective is the lamp, what is the service life and efficiency reduction, where else to put it, how to replace this lamp when it burns out or in order to increase efficiency (see below). And your unwillingness to provide basic information about the lamps and fixtures sold makes me doubt their origin and generally discourages me from buying. Moreover, I don't understand the motives: isn't it better if a brand of a well-known manufacturer works for your sales? Or is there something wrong with the brand?
Regarding safety and effectiveness. Supposedly, lamps of this type are "designed specifically to attract insects", but in fact, in my opinion, they are designed specifically for safe, in accordance with the standards adopted in a number of countries (English EN60335-2-59:1997, 1 milliVt/sq. m at a distance of 1m, etc. similar), applications in passive light and electric traps of a small-range domestic type, i.e. for killing mainly diptera in restaurants and other public places, but with very reduced efficiency, and not for screen fishing. It is enough to compare the radiation densities of lamps of the same type and power (T5 8W G5) of one manufacturer (Sylvania) at a distance of 1m: BL368 has 0.25 MW/sq. m, as you indicate, which is consistent with the manufacturer's catalog data (0.2-0.4 milliwatts/sq. m for lamps of different power), this is 0.00025 W/sq. m.m ; and more than 10microVt/sq. m.see for lamps Black Light 365nm (BLB365) from the catalog of the same Sylvania, see the picture below, this is 0.1 W / sq. m. The difference is 400 times! Yes, BLB lamps are more dangerous, but they also work MUCH better on the screen, which I have repeatedly tested in comparison with" safe " lamps (although not Sylvanias, but analogues from other manufacturers from the USA). The idea that the closer the peak of radiation is to 365nm, the better it is to attract insects, to put it mildly, is not sufficiently confirmed, the experience of using DRL lamps with different phosphors, and linear fluorescent lamps with different spectra speaks just about something else, but in this case it does not matter, since even in the 360-degree range -370nm difference in radiation is colossal. Then everyone can decide for themselves which lamps to use.
Since I suspected something similar (I saw a picture on your site where "safe" lamps shine with a pleasant blue light smile.gif, in contrast to the much more intense BL) , I asked you to provide the characteristics of the lamps from the manufacturer. At this point, I consider the question about the proposed lamp to be exhausted for myself, since I do not consider it advisable to use such lamps, and a set of the same lamp and two BLB lamps from a decent brand, bought separately, costs almost half as much (and from a less decent one, say Camelion, 2.5 times). Of course, someone will not assemble such a kit himself, it is more convenient for him to buy everything assembled, but he must have an idea of what exactly he is buying.

I found out more about khaki bags. The original customer's idea was that he needed universal bags that could be used both in the air and in water. They even tried to mow with them, although I can hardly imagine this. In general, it turns out, who is relevant to air+water-write, I will send it to the test. Although some special scales will probably be better than universal ones. But buying a separate water pump is not always worth it.

Barnaba, you are right, but mostly not for the store's theme, but for the theme of Catching the light. Or for a chat over a glass of tea (I'd love to, by the way). A person who needs "all in one" and does not worry about numbers and graphs on the side. And if it's not a side issue (there are exceptions everywhere), then I'm always happy to talk to him about numbers and graphs. Over a glass of tea. Or even behind the phone. And sometimes in the topic Catching in the light. Although I visit there quite rarely, because the specifics are a little different. Bo often what works well for a private trapper doesn't work well for a store at all.

This is what the bags look like:

Come complete with our nets, can be used as a replacement for our own, as well as for entosfinxes and other collapsible diameter 40 cm.
Please note that the outer bag has a protective color on the outside, but it is light inside (it is slightly more convenient to consider cockroaches than in an entosfynx one).
The inner bag, of course, is also light.

Under this case, we eliminate the remnants of entosphinxes for mowing. Who is relevant — it's time to take it.

By popular demand :-- ) In addition to night screens with a height of 150 cm, we are now making larger screens with a height of 180 cm (and, accordingly, with a larger bottom area).

Are arcs at the intersection somehow fixed?
Are the blades sewn to the bottom?

Are arcs at the intersection somehow fixed?
If you mean some kind of scary thread like entosphinx, then there is no such thing. But there is enough tension, frame and hook fastening so that the arcs do not go to the sides. Including in the wind. At first, they were tied crosswise on the tests with ribbons, then they stopped — everything holds up without them. But if you really want to hedge your bets, you can also link them.
Dima Pozhogin seems to have had such a thing from the first versions, you can look at it as a thread on occasion.

Are the blades sewn to the bottom?
There is a modification with sewn ones, there are some with separate ones. People often take it with them (in the photo).

And what is the advantage of non-sewn blades?
