Our situation is simple — people regularly specify what they want with a separate bottom, so we have now switched to the main version with a separate one (although by default it is fixed with carabiners, but it can be unfastened). I asked, they say, and why, not at all, but when I asked, the customers said
about a separate stretch, about the place under the petals through, about homemade replaceable bottoms (larger), about the lamp at the bottom (C2, or something, put?) and about a separate washing of the bottom.
On myself from this, as a convenience, I experienced only a separate stretch.
For most applications, I don't think there will be a global difference. But there are probably users who are more experienced than me, maybe they will add something :--)

At the exhibition this weekend — traps, screens, bags for nets, exhusters, mattresses, blocks and books at reduced prices. Plus, there are brass analogs of Entosfinks tweezers — very soft and also in a fashionable golden color:--)

20.03.2017 11:59, Peter Khramov

Two upgrades were suggested for night screens at the exhibition:
A small "roof" and the continuation of the petals in the form of small canopies as an alternative to the petals sewn to the bottom (so that there is no space between the petals and the bottom, but if you want the canopies to be raised).
If anyone has any other thoughts on add-ons-write.

New options for insect mattresses
Large containers for 10 high or 20 low mattresses (good for quiet work in the camp) and convenient compact containers for 5 mattresses — for working in the field.

People! who purchased universal bags? interested in the quality of the fabric. is the fabric sufficiently resistant to "light" mowing and at the same time not too rough for daytime butterflies? for comparison, the fabric of entosfinks air bags is coarse.

10.04.2017 13:31, Peter Khramov

So, for mowing, take either a normal mowing bag, or even an ordinary air bag. Universal for serious work, do not take it, it is more for school students and similar applications.

10.04.2017 13:35, Artsat

I bought a shortened version of the khaki air bag on Entomosphinx, but I didn't like its cone-shaped shape. As a result, I left a bag from "Naturalist", its fabric is really softer! I haven't used it yet, but the view is trustworthy. I don't do mowing, so I can't recommend it.

10.04.2017 13:41, Artsat

Let me clarify: In the previous post, we were talking about an air bag, not a universal one.

Thank you, Peter! then add to my order your air bag for 40 and 50. Let's try wink.gif

We made a version of the screen with a sewn bottom and a "roof", so that friends who crawl up don't get lost. The price is affected, but the effect should also be quite impressive. Boom to try plus wait for people's feedback.

Will there be a photo?.. =)

Necessarily :--) We'll get to the forest/field, take a picture and post it.

That's how our city was taken for a ride. And I've already rolled out my lip.

How long does it take to build/parse such a screen?

02.08.2017 14:06, Peter Khramov

After a short workout — 5 minutes. If you need it faster — you can learn it faster (it takes us about 3 minutes right now).
In general, it is assembled noticeably faster than the average tent, and you can read about the championships at the top of tent assembly in tyrnets — there are generally funny numbers:--)
P. S. If you just need to move the structure 50-100 meters, then this is quite done without any assembly/disassembly.

It's too bad that this screen doesn't have rain protection for the light bulb.

02.08.2017 16:51, Peter Khramov

Hmm. And what other protection can there be, besides the roof, as in the first picture?

02.08.2017 18:06, СаняМухолов

I don't know what it is, but it must be, otherwise it will rain a little too hard and the light bulb will no longer be there.

02.08.2017 18:15, Peter Khramov

I think that protection from light rain (or for a very short time from non-light rain — just to drag the structure aside or disassemble it) is covered with such a roof (but you still need to test it, maybe make the size a little larger). And to protect yourself from a decent rain in the framework of such a screen is simply ineffective. To do this, you need an external canopy or something similar.
But if you have any specific thoughts on improving or modifying the design, please let us know.

02.08.2017 18:25, СаняМухолов

The problem is that at night, somewhere in the tropics, the rain may start abruptly and there will not be enough time to curl up. Ideally, strengthen something like an umbrella over the structure.

04.08.2017 11:56, Peter Khramov

So it turns out that this is a separate design... Let's figure out how much more expensive a set of two structures will be...

15.08.2017 13:52, Peter Khramov

Who asked for pins #7 and minus 0.10 — they are now there.

If your production, then ask for a photo.

19.08.2017 11:30, Black Coleopter

Will there be a one-night stand? I would take it for straightening.

20.08.2017 10:45, Peter Khramov

Nothing has changed with their own now — only threes.

28.08.2017 16:01, Peter Khramov

We are switching to frames with a shortened knee, now the transport length of night screens will be only 60 cm. The frame at the same time remains diraluminium, the same with a margin of thickness.

17.09.2017 20:52, AGG

I bought a Naturaliste bag. Since I collect both butterflies and beetles, I needed a light one for air, but strong one for mowing. Yesterday's tough mowing on heather and blueberries with pine branches, litter and raspberries - the test sample passed "with a bang!" wink.gif
Well done and thank you!

ps Will have to "drown" it next year - I'm sure it will survive shuffle.gif

I would also like a stain so that ethyl acetate can be poured into the hole, muffled with cotton wool,
on the back of the lid. Are there any of these? If not, is it possible to develop it?

I use to cover the light bulb from the rain, in traps of this type, a simple square of water-permeable fabric 40cmx40cm with hooks on elastic bands, which are attached on arcs to mount the side blades of the screen. the analog is used on single-layer tents to cover the top of the ventilation grid, so that rain does not fall into the tent. cheap and angry.

We will ask the production staff, but offhand it is less reliable than the sewn version (while probably somewhat cheaper to create).
