If you just enter http://tpittaway.tripod.com
then I get this message::

Thank God I downloaded the hawk moth from Tony Pittaway's website in time! In general, I don't like this ban, maybe this is another "sanction"?

Sort of like a nominative there. It has only one subspecies Acosmeryx naga hissarica Shchetkin, 1956
and it is widespread in Southern Tajikistan and Afghanistan.

These addresses, Vasily, have been known to us for a long time. We are talking here about the fact that recently, when they are opened (for some users and not from all computers), a bad inscription appears (again, it sometimes looks different, but the content is similar):
"Dear users!

We apologize, but access to the requested resource is restricted.

Possible reasons for restricting access:

Access is restricted by a court decision or on other grounds established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

The network address that allows you to identify a site on the Internet is included in the Unified Register of Domain Names, page Pointers for Internet Sites, and network addresses that allow you to identify sites on the Internet that contain information that is prohibited from being distributed in the Russian Federation.

You can check the presence of a network address in the Unified Registry in the "View Registry" section on the site eais.rkn.gov.ru."

I'm inclined to think that there's some viral stuff under all this (on the site, not on the PC). But I don't know much about it. The fact is obvious. Someone's website opens, someone doesn't.

Try searching through Google. Of course, I don't understand much, but in my opinion, using the Russian search engine Yandex by default is evil if such a problem occurs: you should take into account our half - witted legislators. The provider can also block it (the list is sent to it and that's all).
I have normally opens from the computer (prov. Net by Net) and from a smartphone (prov. MTS). I don't use Yandex to search for anything in both cases).

Well, now the following has become clear. It's not about Yandex, or the browser. We connected the laptop next to the PC, not from Wi-Fi, but from another modem, respectively, a different IP address. Then the site opened. It didn't open from my IP address on the same laptop. This means that some IP addresses are blocked, probably for some active users of the site. This may have something to do with copyright-they say Pitteway published a book on hawkmoth. Although, of course, it is incredible... All other entomology sites open normally for me.

Unfortunately, your links don't open the Pittaway sites for me. Tried all sorts of ways to open them. And typed "Sphingidae of the...". And also entered the names of sites; I tried it through my Mozilla, Explorer and "Internet login", nothing opened. Here below (i.e. from me above) users have sites that can be used to open Pittaway (as I understand it). But so far, I don't know much about it. Interesting www.hideme.ru/.

The problem is with the provider's system administrators.
Crooked or lazy admins block more than just a specific page or site hosted on tripod.com, but often the entire domain.
For those providers whose administrators are competent , there is no such widespread blocking.

For Morozzz (or who knows).

Strange changes have occurred. Posts and images on the Sphingidae forum have been reversed. So, the image (vasiliy-feoktistov; Daphnis hypothous) was at the beginning of page 14, became at the bottom of page 13. My message on page 15-the first one, turned out to be at the bottom on page 14. And also, y (rhopalocera.com) on page 9, instead of images, there are codes like: [attachmentid()=1329......], There are 11 of them.
And finally, links to the sites of A. R. Pittaway-I worked yesterday, that is, the sites opened, but today again there is no (forum links). Please explain these changes. I will be very grateful.
