I will assume that it can be Boloria banghaasi, there is still Boloria frigidalis can be, but it has a darker undergarment and it flies about three thousand.

Yes, I'll have to agree with you. Boloria frigidalis is another. Confused by the Sineva catalog. Its range of Boloria banghaasi starts from Buryatia and further east.

"Tyva" is indicated for this species (B. banghaasi) by Streltsov on page 256 of the abstract. catalog for the Far East for 2016 I think it looks very similar.

As I understand it, in the above description of B. banghaasi localities, Zap. Sayan and Tuva are not specified.
I have a small series of B. banghaasi from Chukotka (Bilibino) and Kamchatka (Esso). I turned it around and looked at it: everything, including Sayanskaya, looks like stamped ones.

it's no wonder. our merchants-subspecies writers stamp out subspecies not by differences, but by geographical principle.

According to new trends from G. C. Bozano
, the male from above is Argynnis xipe changaica (Reuss, 1922) f. xipe
The male from below is Argynnis xipe changaica (Reuss, 1922) f.coredippe
One species of xipe ssp.changaica - 2 different morphological forms.

According to the old trends from Pavel Bogdanov, these are 2 different types
(he told me this January about one type-full x...)
Top male Argynnis xanthodippe xipe (Grum-Grshimailo, 1891)
Male from below Argynnis coredippe changaica (Reuss, 1922)

So there is still no agreement among the comrades !

Argynnis vorax vorax (Butler, 1871)
This species replaces the adippa in the Far East, Sakhalin, the Kuril Islands and Japan, starting behind the Bureinskaya Basin. adippe is NOT available in the Russian Far East !

Thank you, of course. But there are a lot of questions:
- when did these "trends" appear and how would you get acquainted with them?
- G. C. Bozano is not a Brazilian billionaire by any chance?
- what is A. nioba then?
- hireo, changaica, coredippe, vorax-in a mess brewed! smile.gif

Bozano is the editor (and often co-author) of the colossal Guide to the butterflies of the palaearctic region series, published in the 1990s.There are two books in this series on Papilionidae that are freely available. In the photo, of course, it is unlikely that niobe with such a powerful androconium, and the underwear is not hers, in my opinion. It's really something from xipe and the company. And they made a mess with them for sure, I agree...

Yeah, I looked it up. Thank you.
In general: the case is clear that the case is dark smile.gif.
I focused on Yu. P. Korshunov and Pavel Gorbunov. Although they have the same approaches different.
Here are two more mother-of-pearl pieces. I would like to know your opinion.

You can't make out these Augean stables without a ruler. Bogdanov is so in this group ... hmm... inherited it... that now you can't be sure of anything.
