Taking advantage of the temporary lull, just in case, I will post here a map of the distribution of its subspecies in the south of the DV:

Of course, there the Amur region is called Irkutsk smile.gif- but still, it seems, a good thing.

The map is very controversial, so don't take it as a dogma. This work is just an attempt to understand the geographical variability of the subspecies Parnassius eversmanni in the Far East, nothing more (by the way, I do not recognize Driopa as a genus, it is a good subgenus, nothing more). So, there's still a lot of digging to do... Soon I will try to post the Amur butterflies P. e. vosnessenskii (this is not a mistake - we also have this taxon, despite the map and the work I discussed above) and P. felderi litoreus.

And the Vladimir region is generally the most "Apollonian" of the Central Russian regions: it is known there from Vyaznikovsky, Gorokhovetsky, Gus-Khrustalny, Kameshkovsky, Kovrovsky, Sudogodsky and Petushinsky districts.
