Another spider from the bush. It wasn't that big, but the web was high-quality-it was stretched with a tent.

Last weekend, I spent two and a half hours looking for beetles in the Botanical Garden. They don't exist, they just don't exist. I found a lot of ants (I was bitten in revenge for picking at dry leaves), during the excavation of the log I found some very small scolopendras in the amount of two pieces and several moths fluttered on the grass closer to sunset, one seems to be a rider (I photographed this in Mataranka at the lamp) flew by. Everything. Even dragonflies no. weep.gif

Well, not quite bedbugs yet, but their larvae. smile.gif

Wow! And then the larvae will change a lot? Which of these beetles will hatch - similar to larvae? smile.gif

In bedbugs, like almost all insects that develop with incomplete transformation, larvae (nymphs) are similar to adults (imagos). It is in beetles, diptera, hymenoptera, butterflies, in the metamorphosis of which there is a pupal stage (complete transformation), the "babies" are completely different from their parents.

Great! Thanks! smile.gif

And how to distinguish a larva from a bug already?

31.08.2010 18:34, Arikain

The bug has wings, and it is somewhat larger (if the bug and the larva of the same species). Also, the body shape of the larva is usually more rounded.

The bug has wings

lol.gif And I was always happy "What beetles got good-absolutely do not fly away and do not even try!". Now I see that they don't even have wings! redface.gif

Well, up to the subfamily, I'll figure it out... Catantopinae s. l. And then - frown.gif

Is it a grasshopper? smile.gif It's huge, almost the size of my hand. I don't want to touch it until it's dry, and then I'll take pictures from all sides. Do you need to pay attention to something specific and take a close-up?
