Just now, on the 6 o'clock news on Channel 1, it was reported that the Crimean cactus collector V. Savchuk (if I understood correctly-this is Okoem) had problems with law enforcement agencies. Allegedly, he was detained while selling nepomnyuk some kind of cactus from Peru, which contains a hallucinogen, and they are trying to impute to him almost drug sales. It already looks like from the comments that this is pure crap. Someone did not comply with the norm for solving drug-related crimes. If anyone knows more information, please post here.

This is IRONIC !!!! The Lophophora cacti (2 species if not wrong) , can be ordered from each cactus nursery as plants or seeds. Even here in Bulgarian FLORA you can buy all the cacti that are hallucinogenic : Lophophora , Ariocarpus , Neogomesia !

This month, the legality of opening this criminal case will be considered. If it is recognized that there were no grounds for opening a case, then the story will probably end there. So, while there is hope for a speedy and successful completion.
But if they recognize that the case is opened legally, then there will be a trial on charges of drug trafficking.

By the way, recently in Ukraine, morning glory was officially equated to narcotic plants (in the Crimea, everyone who is not lazy decorates fences with it).
And in Russia, parsley was equated to narcotic plants.

You are welcomed , if this helps let the people involved in this case make test of the hallucinogenic & psychoactive alkaloids esp. the mescaline and to compare with native plans - this is a MUST . I hardly believe that the sun , soil and the rest of conditions in Ukraine are the same as these in San Luis Potosi . This makes me think that they are not enough in this slow growing cactus.
Moreover , if the so called policemans learn that the Amanita muscaria is European equal of the peyote what shall he do ?? Collect all of them ???

My pribabahny friend bought some young lophophores to test how it sticks. It was quite difficult to eat them-they were bitter. Somehow I swallowed, then waited for the effect, but I felt almost nothing.
