What a calm and sunny day))) In the park, of course, it's cool, but next weekend the hike is all business, not a single early dawn will remain at such a pace in the steppewink.gif, How can you go to parks at such a time?smile.gif

The fact that for me personally there is no fun to spread everything in a row. Especially if the trip was unsuccessful on insects or the photos did not turn out well.

This is the area of Vrancea in the Carpathians, often shakes, this year is not the first time.
There are a lot of beetles, I started to identify them and it stalled. I was particularly pleased to find Psammoecus bipuncatatus (Fabricius, 1792) (Silvanids), already familiar from Barry's reports, but I thought that the animal was still larger. Right now I'll start defining the rest, maybe tomorrow something else will be added. Then I'll write it in two days.
And the mood is good, a strong house was built by Soviet builders. How springy he was!!

Saturday. It's a shame to admit, Chisinau again, forest plantations again, lake, south-north wind, confident. In the reeds, at the water's edge, in the coastal clusters of leaves, there are a lot of all sorts of different beetles. Three new species were taken - the already mentioned Psammoecus bipuncatatus, as well as Bradycellus csikii and Bembidion dentellum from ground beetles. I might be able to spot some small pterostiches, a couple of amaras and agonums, but I don't believe in these at all. In addition, two Lepirus capucinus, one Badister sodalis, Notaris scirpi, and Chrysolina sanguinolenta were removed from the wild. And something else for small things. Nothing serious was found, and it was not possible to repeat Chlaenius tristis. But now I know he's here, and he's not the only one.
Still, I thanked the spirits of the woodlands, three new species for coming out is not bad at all.

This weevil is a very interesting thing. It belongs to the subfamily Cossonidae and is similar to Hexarthrum exiguum (Boheman, 1838), but it should be shown to specialists...

Last fall, the bug Leptoglossus occidentalis was found near Chisinau in all holes where you can spend the winter. A fresh abandoned hornet's nest is packed with about ten of them, and it just fits in the cell. I've never seen such people before, so I'd like to pay attention. The exterior is exotic for our places. Right now I read about it, and indeed, it is found near pine plantations or right in them.

By topic. Practice proves that everyday life is not a hindrance for a slacker. The time has come when any smooth, bright surface in the city turns into an open showcase of urban entomology. And yesterday, on the fence of trolleybus park No. 2, spoymans Oulema rufocyanea, some Ceutorhynchus from curcula were also found, but there are ten options, plus several unidentified seaton and Ischnomera caerulea from Oedemeridae. These are all new species for me.

In general, I decided this afternoon to go for food, woodlice to collect a little.. And there jump.gif
EVERYTHING!!! Life is coming into its own, everything is flying, buzzing, singing, jumping, grasshoppers are hatching - darkness, as if the dust has suddenly become bouncy, blackbirds are running everywhere,
polyxenes, latonias, piles of whiteflies are flying, moths are full, scoops and moths are being scared out of every blade of
grass, all sorts of caterpillars are crawling, both fat and fluffy, and with thorns,
the hum of bees, the singing of larks, already the beetles have begun to eat cakes,
summer jump.gif jump.gif jump.gif
Lapchatki everywhere are blooming, rindery are blooming, adonis still continue to bloom, although it is noticeable that many leaves were caught by frost, but in general, they hold on perfectly, sometimes even naaamno worse, irises are blooming, and apricots are blooming!!! A lot of flowers on apricots of course turned black in the steppe, and the ovaries disappeared, but there are a lot of live ones, and a lot of such flowers that are only now blooming. In general, apparently, in the conditions of the city, the apricot harvest should be no less than last year's, in the steppes it will most likely be mainly on the tops of trees. But I was to the north, it is necessary to look even closer to the sea, there may be lower ovaries all alive, after all, about 35 km distance.
