Is this a feature of the pretties themselves? Kept different ground beetles, from karabus to harpal, nothing like this was not with anyone.

18.06.2007 9:16, omar

Chlaenius vestitus as if. But I haven't looked at it yet, it's still alive.

I know for sure that bronzes, gnorimuses are actively "rotting" (so the Ripper will confirmsmile.gif), and some other beetles. Although, perhaps, this is all once in a while not necessary. But. in general, I wouldn't risksmile.gif

18.06.2007 10:49, omar

I don't think I'm risking anything. It doesn't look like a bronze medal. A karabusy I lived for 2 years and did not rot. smile.gif

18.06.2007 11:04, Frantic

Well, it's the owner's business. Either way, a great find. Especially for the Ministry of Defense.

PS: I'm going to check the traps in an hour. In the evening I will unsubscribe, who came to themsmile.gif

We are waiting for you!

Still, Ripper would write that he still fell into traps for barbels.

18.06.2007 12:47, Mikhail F. Bagaturov

Hi!
And more. There will be an opportunity, catch, plz, more Geotrupes stercorarius (which, most likely, Baikalikussmile.gif), we'll swapsmile.gif

You're the one who got strcorosus mixed up...

18.06.2007 16:20, Bad Den

Southern suburbs, DRL-250
Again caught the light. It flew a terrible amount, there was almost no space left on the screen. Hawks flew in dense crowds, hanging out in 3-4 pieces, as if they were thinking for three. smile.gif All banal types: medium wine, small wine, eye-shaped, linden, poplar, bedstraw. The shovels were stuffed down his neck and crunched under his feet, though he tried to tread carefully. Beetle pearl is a nightmare, especially zealous staphylins, swimmers, small water lovers, from ground beetles numerous Stenolophus mixtus, Acupalpus sp. three or four species, both types of red badisters, agonums of several species (at a cursory glance, there are interesting ones), harpalus of several species, of which Harpalus hirtipes pleased, one hlenius, from the classic, with a yellow border, an interesting leiodid, something from salpingids, Aderus populnea, a couple of rhinos flew from the plates and a pair of Geotrupes stercorarius, Trox scaber. 3 pieces of interesting small beetles arrived, I don't even know yet, red and small, I will definitely write them off as soon as I determine them. One Cicindera germanica arrived. And most importantly, Calosoma investigator arrived, which I was very happy about. A strong male took up residence in my 2-liter jar, because I decided that death in the stain was too easy for him. After determining, I will post a full list of the most interesting things, as well as photos.

Wow!! jump.gif
Is it outside the city that there is such a variety? Or in Moscow?

This diversity occurs quite far from Moscow, approximately 160 km to the south, Lukhovitsky district. The place is nice, but not the most gorgeous. But I have already agreed with a local person about how to power the lamp in a posh place. On one side is an oak grove, on the other side are dry forests that are almost undisturbed, as far as the eye can see. In Moscow, everything would be much more modest.

"I know for sure that bronzes and gnorimuses are actively "rotting" (so the Ripper will confirm)"
I confirm it! yes.gif
Created normal conditions for hungarikam with gnorimusami. It seems to crawl, everything is fine, and then bam, you look and already there are no paws, you look again in the evening and there is no other.. Something like that..
I also raised Congolese children.. Those, of course, are more durable, but still gradually lose their good.

"Still, the Ripper would write that he still fell into traps for barbels."
I've already written about the first set of traps, but I haven't checked the second frown.gifone yet..

"This is you with strcorosus'om mixed up..."
No one has seen the beetle, the description does not even know, and already what it lol.gifis:

Why not? From Meshchera, it is known from Phosphorite, according to KK data.
In principle, it is possible to meet it everywhere in the region...

I've been fishing in the Ruzsky district for a very long time.

So, we just got back from checking out traps (we went with another forum member, Andreysmile.gif). It's funny, but in the 2 days that have passed since Saturday, the fauna has changed dramatically again. In general, Judolia sexmaculata disappeared, but some completely background and not tasty lepturina flew, which is more likely to be characteristic of July. Even mosquitoes have become noticeably smaller. No Minutemen were caught in the traps, frown.gif but 3 or 4 shrews were killed. frown.gifIn short, everything was bad (only Andrey caught a Saperda on the fly), when, on the trunk of a dying aspen tree, almost not illuminated by direct sunlight, I took Poecilonota variolosa (Paykull, 1799). Very nice find. And, I note, again, rather July. Alas, that was the end of all the funfrown.gif) But with a clear conscience you can say: Moscow region, goodbye until Augustsmile.gif At least, goodbye ground beetlessmile.gif

They, by the way, jump into glasses themselves, in search of food (insects)

Goodbye until Augustsmile.gif At least, goodbye ground beetlessmile.gif

Perhaps not until August (after all, everything happens earlier by 1 month). Consider that it is now July, and in a month. autumn ground beetles will go.

The only inconvenience that comes to mind is that they can run into this tub from the outside. It should, in theory, be treated with a flashlight smile.gif

And yesterday I caught a light from Bolkon. A bunch of mosquitoes and micros arrived.
From the catch:
Zeuzera pyrina (whined when caught)
Pyrrhia umbra
Eurois occulta
Agrotis segetum (20 pieces arrived)
Ochropleura plecta
Atolmis rubricollis (the same was not enough)
Calospilos sylvata
and small scoops and moths, which have not yet been identified.
Rhizotrogus solstitialis, the only representative of last night's beetles:

By the way, how did you go to the dacha?smile.gif

25.06.2007 9:17, omar

Not so much. Time was short, it was cold at night, so I didn't go to a cool place to catch, I turned it on at the site. Of the beetles, I was only impressed by some small animal, 2 mm, I don't even know what it is. And so only rhinos, small staffs and all the water stuff flew-all sorts of small water lovers and floaters, I'm a complete zero in them. frown.gif I spent half a day going to the site of the Chlorophorus herbsti population, found 6 pieces only. Obviously, they haven't started yet - all my previous training camps date back to the second half of July. This weekend I plan to collect more.

KDG: My hands are itching to pick up this trash! smile.gif

This weekend I again went to my home in derevya (Ruzsky district). The goal was to visit the lake. Deep, which I did.
22.06. D. Lenkovo
Arrived late, and immediately ran to the street lamp. The night was cold (+17) and windy, so there wasn't much flying frown.gif. From the catch: Rusina ferruginea, Pseudeustrotia candidula, Agrotis segetum, A. exclamationis, Pyrrhia umbra, Hypena proboscidalis, Mythimna ferrago, Diachrysia stenochrysis, Eilema sp, Thetidia smaragdaria, Scotopteryx chenopodiata, Geometra papilionaria, etc
., okr. zo. Glubokoe.
When I arrived in the village, I realized that not all roads were marked on the fucking map smile.gif. Having received vague information from local residents, I figured out the forest roads.
On the way, I saw a small oak forest, in which, oddly enough, there was nothing but banal Coenonympha pamphilus and not very banal C. arcania.
Part of an oak fishing line:

Then I wandered for a long time along the forest roads in search of a lake and some swamps..... In short, I got smile.gifthere . I went out to a hydrobiology station and walked around it to the lake:

I didn't have to go there for a long time, since there was no nitsche on the shore frown.gif. After walking around there in search of glades, I decided to go back.
On the forest road there were a lot of Apatura ilia (every meter sat) and not a lot of A. iris. I also caught Lopinga achine there for the first time in the Ruzsky district. More, oddly enough, I did not catch anything therefrown.gif, although I expected much more...
On the way, domou stopped at the peat bogs in d. Nuts. Except for Heteropterus morpheus, of which there were abnormally many, I didn't take anything.
In the evening I went to the river (r. Ozerna). There he took Plebejus argus, Plebicula amandus and Ochlodes
sylvanus.:

We went with my wife to the district of the Prioksko-Terrasny Nature Reserve.
Let's just go at random. We went to the settled places of the southern outskirts.
Literally in front of our eyes, in a place where krovokhlebka grows abundantly, Maculinea teleius began to be displayed. This is, of course, the most enjoyable part. Photos will be available later.
most of those steppe associations were either burned out in the sun or suffered from spring fires-a ball of rolling. In more or less preserved places, we caught something. Full of Melitaea didyma.
Other interesting species for the Moscow region include Rhodotrophia vibicaria and Muschampia tesselum.

Report on a joint sortie to the Beloomuta district (M. O., Lukhovitsky district) on July 6-7.
Omar and my wife and I participated.
The places are very nice, adjacent to the Oka River.
Omar has long suggested that I go there. The tasks included: collecting at night on the light (DRL-250) and daytime bypass of the surrounding forests.
Night fishing, frankly, well, very pleased! Especially such butterflies as Hyssia cavernosa, Hadena perplexa, Brachylomia viminalis, Calophasia lunula, a lot of Thalera fimbrialis. There were many other things that still need to be dealt with.
In the afternoon of 07.07.07. the weather was not very good, a strong wind was blowing, and much could not be collected. However, they caught and photographed the lovely moth Lythria purpurata. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to hold a joint training camp for the light in another great place, but I think that we will still be able to fish there. It's a pity that the weather failed later, the places are very good.
In general, we are very satisfied. I express my sincere gratitude to Roman.

Frost: Yes, come and clean up our butterflies! I don't know much about dustpans." And it was cold at night, so only one Lymexilon navale flew in from an interesting bug, but it seems that it was already going to Nikitsky's window traps there last year. And so-a rare beetle in the Moscow region. And 07.07.2007 I got a lone Harpalus automnalis, and that's it. There were no upis, and even my Stenolophus skrimshiranus hid somewhere, it was not possible to show my unique southerners to the Frost, they were afraid of its influence of low temperatures, probably.
