Morozzz how do you maintain this natural coloration of D. porcellus? For me, they all fade and become dark...

I spread them out fresh.

19.07.2007 20:42, Pavel Morozov

Fees are stored in a hermetically sealed plastic container in the form of a tattoo in the freezer. During the week, I try to straighten everything out.
For example, this is how I stored fees from Primorye (both on the spot and after arriving at home). From there, there are specimens of the subspecies D. elpenor there. Straightened out 3 weeks after training camp, still bright. It should be noted that seaside medium wine hawks have a more intense pink color than hawks from the middle band.

19.07.2007 20:43, Pavel Morozov

And I also pricked the Primorye ones with ammonia.

Today I was in the Prioksko-Pokrovsky Nature Reserve (PTZ). I expected more from the trip.

First I came to Luzhki in the ROC. Zibrovo. The weather was fine, but the wind was very strong. The vegetation has already burned out and the landscape has become more like a steppe. A VERY large number of Meleageria daphnis became cheaper. I've never seen a drain, there's a butterfly in every meter. I also caught a male Plebejus argyrognomon, a female Lycaena tityrus, a female Nordmannia spini, Pontia edusa, Hyponephele lycaon, Zygaena osterodensis (=scabiosae) and some green mottled bird(I can't tell them apartsmile.gif). I have seen but not caught Lycaena virgaurea, Lycaena phlaeas, Cupido minimus, Aricia allous, Papilio machaon, Limenitis camilla and some other banal species.
Then I went to the village of okr. Springs. I went out into the clearing, expecting to see a lot of flowers, but all the grass was mowed down. Because of this, there were few butterflies. From the catch of Clossiana dia, female Nordmannia ilicis, Zygaena ephialtes peucedani and medusa. Finally, ephialtes was also not enough. I also saw the same views as above.
This was the end of my trip, as it started to rain frown.gif.

Zhuk:
and this catch is bad???? Yes, I would be very happy to catch such things-cheodes, hiponafele, interesting motley birds, spini, camilla and medusa!! Although for MO it's probably normal.. I don't know.. but it's still good.
Everything, I want to go to Moscow, collect, catch, change and communicate smile.gif

By the way, what about the horses you have now? I want to catch sylvatica and what else you have interesting.. (even a hybrid would fish, even though I have 5 of them). By the way, which of the karabuses is currently running? I want to take hortensis, nemoralis. Is it possible to find the same homophrons? I've never seen them either frown.gif

and jellyfish!!

By the way, medusa is not erebia, but a form of Zygaena ephialtes.

Among the horses in the PTZ, khybridu saw a large number and some other small one, which he did not catch because of the wind. Maybe Germanic or sylvatic?
I also saw Ostoma ferrugineum, some softlings, and an elephant from Lixinae, which I dropped in the grass and didn't find frown.gif. Spharischen with beetles there scha tugovato, and here is in June...

A small horse can be either germanic, if narrow, or arenaria, if wider. sylvatica is larger than hybrids and darker colored. If it was an arenaria, you missed a unique beetle that no one caught in the MO for a very long time, it is believed that it is extinct. See also Beetles of the Moscow and adjacent regions, the beginning.

As for sylvatic, that's for us. I saw dozens of them yesterday. Sorry I don't do horse racing...

And we have very few weep.gifof them

But you have many other types. And at Ripper's vaashe Dorcadions are crawling around the city...

23.07.2007 13:09, RippeR

we have only holoseritseums crawling in the city, but not everywhere.. But I have never seen holoseritseums outside the city.. Well, it is rarely possible to find a billineatum. On the edge of the city, sometimes on the roadsides of tauricum is..
But we don't have enough horses frown.gif

Zhuk: If it really is an accident, then we will all go to the PTZ without fail! Germanic green is simple, and arenaria is patterned.. germanica runs more, usually does not jump far, so if he jumped far, then most likely Arenaria.. something I think so smile.gif

23.07.2007 13:28, Frantic

I think it was Germanica. Arenaria walks near the water. In addition, the PTZ is a very well-studied place. I do not think that they would have missed this coveted horsewink.gif

23.07.2007 13:31, omar

Precisely! Break up the chains and scour the area! In general, it's high time to organize sweeps in the PTZ! lol.gif

Germanic still, as it turned out, runs quite well and arrives at the light and slightly falls into glasses smile.gif

23.07.2007 16:28, Zhuk

I didn't know what color it was, because the sun shone strongly, but it was about the size of germanica. He flew up a little and was blown away by the wind to hell in the middle of nowheresmile.gif.

I've already thought about it. There are enough biotopes and holes in the fence smile.gifas well . So maybe we'll find something new. In general, the PTZ is a unique place.

And the security there is also unique ? wink.gif

It's not there wink.gif
But if of course you yell and destroy everything, then they will imperceptibly appear from somewhere-a thread. smile.gif

This weekend again in the village (Ruzsky district).
28. 07.
The weather sucks. I didn't catch any butterflies during the day. From beetles Cassida sp, Cyphocleonus dealbatus (previously not caught in the MO), Trixagus sp.(I haven't seen anything either.) In Ruza, I saw Catocala fulminea on the wall of the store, but it sat very high frown.gif. In the evening I caught the light. Nothing much happened. The second generation has passed in Notodonta tritophus and other crested whales.
29.08.
I went around the whole area, but I didn't find anything interesting. Fly Polyommatus icarus, Lycaena virgaurea, Lycaena tityrus, Colias hyale(finally caught a female), Cynthia cardui, Vanessa atalanta, Araschnia levana, Maniola jurtina and other commonplaces. From Trachys beetles ?minuta, Trixagus sp, Soronia sp. and some other small glitters. Still on the riverbank took some small black beetle, but until I enter who it is.

Are you sure about Cleon?" Good find.

30.07.2007 11:24, Zhuk

Yes, exactly it is.

30.07.2007 11:26, omar

By key? There are a lot of similar species, much more common.

30.07.2007 11:32, Zhuk

I didn't compare them with the same ones from different places. No keyfrown.gif

30.07.2007 11:53, omar

There is only one potential species missing from green. In general, you can define it. Can you post a photo?

And I have all Notodonta torva, ziczac and dromedarius. These don't come across.

There were also these and Pheosia gnoma and tremula (or maybe one of them, I don't remember)

These two are there.
Do you come across Harpyia milhauseri?

30.07.2007 12:17, Zhuk

No, I never caught her. But there are Pygaera timon and Odontosia carmelita.

30.07.2007 12:18, Pavel Morozov

timon is good, but is there Clostera anastomosis?

30.07.2007 12:20, omar

Cyphocleonus tigrinus probably

30.07.2007 12:20, Zhuk

Yes. In 2005 caught.

Cyphocleonus tigrinus looks like

And it's not the same thing? The zine says Cyphocleonus dealbatus (Gmelin, 1790) (=tigrinus Panzer) confused.gif

30.07.2007 12:26, omar

Um. I don't know what's going on with synonyms or what permutations are made with names. But this elephant
(tigrinus in the sense) is quite common.

30.07.2007 12:29, Frantic

On Saturday, we were with Arkhipus in the Southwestern region. They set traps. Along the way, we hooked Carabus glabratus and Carabus nemoralis. Males, still soft. Apparently, the autumn generation has just started. Also caught barbels: Monochamus galloprovincialis, some banal lepturina, and Oberea (s.str.) oculata. Plus 2 types of goldfish from the genus Agrillus.

Well, I thought about it. Just on zina it is written that these are synonyms and on the label I wrote dealbatus. Figs will sort them out. In the fall in green posmatryu, lessa there is no opportunity.

In the beetles of Sweden, dealbatus and tigrinus also pass as synonyms.

We checked the traps with Archipus today. During the week, they were completely flooded with water, so they clearly did not act for 7 days in a row. The bulk of the catch was made up of Carabus hortensis and, to a lesser extent, glabratus. Alas, the coveted Carabus menetriesi caught only 2, females (but whole). Along the way, we examined the remains of flowers and leaves-empty. No barbels, no goldsmiths.
