Sergiev Posad and Podolsky districts are the most suitable ones, according to the CC MO.

I caught her in S-Posadsky in 1997 - one female and never saw her again.
In general, its distribution in the MO is similar to Callimorpha dominula.

08.08.2007 23:06, Pavel Morozov

By the way, where I collect egeria, C. dominula is a common butterfly.
About egeria, you can add that another copy was collected in the PTZ in the spruce forest.

In general, if anyone wants to catch egeria in the Moscow region, near Zvenigorod - a good population so far. If necessary, I'll tell you more.

Friends! On Saturday and Sunday I'm going to take a ride in the Antsiferovo-Podosinki district. Who-thread wants to join the company? If there are offers to visit other places, I don't mind. Write, in general, in the personal account.

Actually, I'm just going to the country... I have it at the top behind the left arrow on the map - there are many dachas there.
-----------------
In Nemchinovo, all sorts of boredom really-I saw stupid whiteflies, urticaria, admirals, golbyanok Icarus, ox eyes, latona, scoop gamma. Of the not very banal types, only an unpaired chervonets came across.
By the way, I decided to go through the forest - I didn't meet anyone there, but in a fairly short time I came to Peredelkin. I didn't know it was so close.

09.08.2007 16:18, Solarway

And when exactly are you going? If my plans don't change, then let's work together.

To begin with, I'll thank the Hippo Cat.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
The place is absolutely gorgeous. I didn't even reach the Nerskaya River. I went today on the Yegoryevskaya train at 6: 50 to the platform Nerskaya. At 9:05 I was already there. At the same time, two myrmidons caught my eye. It's already worked out for a reason. I went to the nursery, because it wasn't too far to go. I crossed the A-108 road, passed a clearing, a small forest area, and here they are pines with broom and yellow flowers.
I cut as much as I needed and moved back. In front of the road there is a wide clearing running parallel to it. She was wearing smaller myrmidons, but they were still fresh. In the clearing, it was even more pleasant to collect. While I was fishing, I took off my T-shirt, lost it nafig. Okay, I took a windbreaker just in case. Steamed up. but then you can't go around Moscow with a bare torso smile.gif
If someone goes and finds a green T-shirt there, don't be squeamish, my dear.
Back to the butterflies. Among the females, there is also the alba form, I will say a lot, 25 percent.
Among the others, Argynnis paphia and A. niobe, Issoria lathonia, Clossiana selene and a little C. dia flew. Both of them flew only in the clearing, near the highway. There are also Heliothis peltigera, Lythria purpurata, and Scotopteryx moeniata.
There were quite a few blue-winged fillies, but they were painfully small.

I walked back along the clearing, turned onto the highway and reached the Kurovskaya platform, then went home. Closer to Kurovskaya, the landscape became more "humanized", and Colias myrmidone were replaced by Colias hyale butterflies.

thank you very much!!!

Please smile.gif

I'm glad it's not dirty and-most importantly-it didn't burn down smile.gif
And I saw a lot of Alba there, too.

Interesting thing about the moth: I didn't see maniata there, but I did see another Red Book species of this genus: mukronata. However, in the Kaluga region, its double, S. luridata, was recently reliably discovered , and the British tell me about the copy of "mukronata" from Nerskaya that "if there was an English one, they would say that luridata". This point will need to be clarified over time...

Is there such a rare species in MO Myrmidon? (I mean: everything I've seen in MO more than once is not uncommon)

Is there such a rare species in MO Myrmidon? (I mean: everything I've seen in MO more than once is not uncommon)

I personally have never caught them in my entire life smile.gif. Here ter at least know where they are exactly there.

09.08.2007 20:04, Pavel Morozov

In the east of the region and the south-east, it occurs quite often, but locally. There are places that are completely overgrown with broom, such typical hogs, but it is not there.
Again, you need to know the locations. For example, I found out today and was stunned.

09.08.2007 20:34, Pavel Morozov

Yes, I forgot to add that there (on the Nerskaya) a lot of flax grows. When I was waving the net, I accidentally mowed down several caterpillars of C. lunula scoops!!! I wish there was a container for them. And then I would try to output.

Yesterday, a lepidopterologist and I went for myrmidons, all in the same smile.gifplace .

We got on the train at 7.15 and took the train to Nerskaya Square. At 9.20 we were already at Mesla. They flew out of the car, but there was no platform smile.gif, they almost broke their legs smile.gif. Already on the tracks they saw the first male, but they did not catch him. We passed the highway, then through the woods to a clearing and followed it first to the right. Ische nihera did not fly and we decided to swim in advance. And here we sit, eating, and behind us on the flower village Hesperia comma. While the nets were being taken out, she fell somewhere frown.gif(we did not see them later). We decided to start fishing with this client. And so we came to the end of this clearing, and as if by magic, the Colias flew rolleyes.gif, and it took off... At first, only normal females were caught, and then white ones flew. There were a lot of males. And then some dark stuff sat on one of the flowers and I took it. It turned out to be Carcharodus flocciferus!!! Already flown male. The lepidopterist begged me for it, but I never gave smile.gifit back .
Then we decided to go to the nursery. In the forest, various German slogans were shouted in vsegorlo lol.gif. Current came out and again dofiga myrmidons. There, white females often fall in love. I caught a male Plebejus idas, then a Lepidopterist caught two more males and one female. Many Lycaons flew. We walked for about an hour at this cattery. I picked up Calophasia lunula caterpillars. Then they moved towards the river, and behind it there was some openair lol.gif. Tusnya was not weak, but we did not get there because of this river frown.gif. Offended, they moved back. When we got to the nursery, we stopped for lunch, and I told them all sorts of stories about butterflies and entomologists smile.gif. Then we went in the direction of prosika, and, already at the exit from the forest nursery, the Lepidopterist caught a female Maculinea alcon!!! I took some very large black leaf beetles with a red border. Probably Chrysomela gypsophilae. Blue-winged fillies were often caught. There we also yelled and smashed down rotten trees, but the foresters did not come weep.gif lol.gif.
Then we started back to the clearing. Apart from the colias, there was nothing interesting anymore and we decided to go back to the nursery and fish there. Toka came and on the sand I saw a black calf, in my opinion Asida sp. We picked grass for the caterpillars and started back. We walked along the clearing to the left, to the railway tracks. There I took the moth Scotopteryx moeniata. We got to the tracks and we ran out of fucking water frown.gif. It was tin!!! We walked to the square. Podosinki about an hour, missed two trains. We made two stops. And here she is happy!!! Trains run there regularly, so we waited about 10 minutes. Toka sat down and all, legs did not feel. Then the Lepidopterologist got off at Donino and went to his village, and I went to Moscow.
Here is such a dumb expedition we have turned smile.gifout . The place is really very interesting yes.gif! Many thanks to Behemoth!!!

Have you ever met big-eye in those woodlands?

Sorry, just now I saw the question.
No, I didn't see her anywhere-but I was only there at the beginning of July and the beginning of August, and even in a dry sparse pine forest. What kind of big eyes are there? smile.gif

But I caught it about 20 kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road smile.gif

The question is similar to the question about chernushka in the topic "Lists", but now about krupnoglazka!
Zhuk
Eh, lucky you! especially with alcon! I saw there, in addition to mimidon, only pontia edusa, clossiana dia, argynnis paphia. True, I did not reach the forest plantations, only on the clearing... Well, some other pigeons flew, but I thought it was banal icarus, not idas... Prada I think the shander fathead is a commonplace...

Krupnoglazku-in the Ramenskoye district (right bank of the Moskva River, Podolskaya, not Meshcherskaya part).

Well, once you've seen it, it means it's happening smile.gif

It is in the CC of the city of Moscow [2001], I quote:

At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, it was observed on the territory within the borders of modern Moscow in Petrovsko-Razumovsky and Medvedkov. In the 1960s and 1970s, he met in Krylatskoye and Cherepkov, Tushino, near the metro stations Skhodnenskaya and Planernaya. In the last 25 years, the number of encounters has increased, the species is constantly observed in Losiny Ostrov, Izmailovsky Forest, Bitsevsky Forest and Krylatsky, it is found in the vicinity of Orekhovo-Borisov, Znamenskoye-Sadki, on the territory of the SBS and All-Russian Exhibition Center, as well as in residential areas of Sviblov and Medvedkov, in the vicinity of the Sokol and Novoslobodskaya metro stations and Izmailovskaya Street, B. Akademicheskaya and Lipetsk Streets, Marshal Zhukov Avenue.

And to me in Moscow this night flew something similar to the scoop ypsilon and something very similar to Xestia c-migrum...
And please tell me if there are agate and luxury scoops in MO?
And yet, I found a plant in the Ministry of Defense, identified as a large stonecrop. Why isn't there an Apollo?

Ypsilon occurs in MO as a migrant from the south (with local breeding by the end of the season), and Xestia c-nigrum is a common species in MO.

Phlogophora methiculosa occurs in MO as a very rare migrant from the south. I know of only one very old find at Pisky station. If someone caught it yet-share the data, or something...

And Staurophora celsia is a rare resident.

So near Kasimov there is also a very local population. They are all over Meshchera stumbled (probably there is somewhere and in the Moscow Region) - but this is a pathetic remnant of what was 100 years ago.

The dryad, by the way, the same 100 years ago was found north to the Oka River-but now the northern border of its range has moved 200 - 250 kilometers to the south and passes through the Lipetsk region.

But the rest, apparently, are moving north: Galatea was recently found in the Tula region, Neptis rivularis and Euchloe ausonia have recently been found in MO.

20.08.2007 0:29, Vlad Proklov

Yes, and poliksenu where-thread on the Eye to look for-in my opinion not a meaningless occupation...

In any case, the last small Apollo station I found is only 10-15 kilometers from the borders of the Oka Nature Reserve, which, as far as I know, is located within the borders of Meshchera. Stonecrop grows everywhere, Sedum alba on wastelands in the forest, Sedum purpurea-along the banks of reservoirs. As far as I can tell, the Apollo tracks near Kasimov are eating alba. I'll try to clarify this in the spring.
And I once caught a dryad near Orekhovo-Zuyev tongue.gifabout 15 years ago...
