In the morning, while trying to move further, my car slid into a half-meter gash and hit the engine hard on the ground. The engine sensor triggered and the car stalled. Earlier, local people warned me that there was no road further for Vitarka, but I did not take their warning seriously.
Thank God the damage wasn't serious and I was able to slide down to the evening playground.
In the photo, one road goes to Otishi Park ( via Rio Ene), the other on which I stand in San Francisco. Only a hilux with special tires and a winch will pass here ( it's good to insure two cars).

Puerto Bermudez, a very nice town. Such places are always to your liking, because everything is quiet and cheap here. So a set meal costs only from 5 to 6 sols (approximately 3 sols = $ 1). For comparison, in Lima or Tingo Maria, the same snack will cost from 15 to 50 sols.

Further along the road La Selva Norte I finish off to the town of Van Humbolt from there to Tingo Maria ( I don't stop there at all, the place sucks). My goal is the city of Uchiza. I want to get from there via San Pedro de Chonta to the other side of the Andes.
On the way to La Selva Norte I collect interesting days. Butterflies. Perhaps in January or February, this area can be well hunted for a day, but for my time it is empty, even though all the roads are bypassed, and the population density here is huge.
In San Pedro de Chonta, I fail again. There is no road for my car. To Tarapoto 200 km., and there is already the north and a very long run. I turn back to San Matias SanCarlos.
