Vitya, why do you need candles and cut flowers (in the first report)? confused.gif

Yura! Cut flowers, these are real high-altitude, Colombian true, daisies for the Wife who likes to add them to tea... There are also dandelions, clover and Wild Strawberries growing there, just like at home!...
The Indians lit candles, it is connected with the arrival of Christmas, new year and some kind of spirit, to be honest, I did not understand exactly, but it was soulful and beautiful!

More photos with spiders )))))))) ColombiaBoliviaBut there are arthropods, many of which are not systematized, not described, and there is a lot of confusion with them )) Sorry for the off-top, I just do arachnology and keep live bird eaters at home, I come here and drool looking at your magnificent photos with rare species that you see in their real habitat and not in a 20x20 terrarium....

DSC09441.JPG — (4.55 mb) In this photo, a male Henesthis immanis nature male adult ♂

Our keepers from the Russian Federation RB Ukraine get such spiders for fabulous money from Europe from bourgeois keepers and then up to 5 people can travel all over the country who carry animals in batches from there .

Over time, I have a question that has matured, so you carry dry material from there to your homeland, and how (?) Poles germans Czechs buy and export from ColombiaEcuador's rare spider species such as Pamphobeteus or (Chiken Spider) as the locals call them . Many of these species live near the foothills of volcanoes, and in difficult terrain .
Be that as it may, adultyoung female spiders from there in Ukraine and in the Russian Federation cost from 300+ ue fry for 100 ue and you can sometimes get certain species every few years ... But in Europe there are a lot of them and the prices are not so crazy . Unfair, though ... frown.gif

Well, of course. America is cool, but we also have our own bird eaters wink.gif

I load images from my phone. The movie takes a very long time to load. I'm not responsible for the quality of the latest photos I took with my phone for WhatsApp. Now I understand that you need to take photos with the camera, and then send them... but then the transfer speed will be longer in WhatsApp... which is also not always good...
Now I will try to delete the movie, it does not allow images to be sent.
Sorry for the educational program, I'm using this" poke method " to master new, probably already old communication technologies...

I always think of Colombia. A very interesting country, but very overpopulated with monstrously expensive mad.gifrental cars and ubiquitous roadblocksfrown.gif, whose soldiers always do not let the curious tourist on the other side, the side where there is still a forest and all sorts of interesting animals.
More than three years have passed, and the situation seems to have changed little. Obviously, the roadblocks protect fictional marijuana growers, since they make a significant contribution to the country's foreign exchange earnings wink.gif.
Colombia, it seems, will remain a country for a long time, about which more than one entomologist will blunt his netweep.gif, but at the same time he will want to return there again and again wall.gif.
Maybe I'm wrong, but so far we see only beautiful mountain landscapes without strange insects.

Where the Harlequin lives.
The second trip to Peru was supposed to take place as a two-person group, but due to economic problems, I had to do it alone. Thus, the budget of this expedition was the largest in the entire history of my travels.
If we compare this trip in December and the last one in February, I would like to note the complete absence of a daily fee. There was so much rain that the sky was closed 22 hours a day, and the night collection was good only until the end of the first decade of December.
Roads in Peru have become even worse, where last time there was still asphalt, now there was a broken dirt road, and where there were bridges, there were signs about detours through water fords with different depths.
Sawing wood in Peru has become even more. All along the way, I saw trucks with logs. On the site of a cut-down forest, I observed the planting of crops or the construction of the poorest settlements, where small children played in the mud along with dogs, chickens and pigs. Thus, the population in Peru is growing significantly every year. The government of Peru does not even think about preserving the forest wealth transferred by the nature of this continent in the form of a gift. It seems that in this country there are no competent ecologists who can warn about the threat to the population, Peruvians apparently underestimate the importance of rich forest plantations and comfortable climatic conditions, and simply fight it like a weed. However, I observed a similar picture in Colombia ( probably it is similar in Venezuela, Brazil, Bolivia, etc.). If in Australia or New Caledonia National Parks are inviolable, and do not have multiple chaotic settlements, then in South America otp....anyone can see the forest inside the park. It is also surprising that there are no buffer zones around the Nat.Parks. In developed countries, around each protected park area there is always a buffer zone in the form of a forest reserve, which is also inviolable as the National Park itself. This allows you to create comfortable conditions for the inhabitants of the park, to maintain a favorable microclimate inside. Here, the villages are surrounded by Nat.Parks are like fortresses, leaving less and less chance for the animals and plants inhabiting them to survive. If this continues, the largest parks in Peru will be accessible by car from any direction.
I would like to note that along with the lack of a culture of nature management in Peru, they also do not know how to respect each other on the roads. Drivers shove, honk, and don't let them pass, as if the world is ending. Driving a car in big cities is a real challenge.
In just 29 days, I drove 4500 km., and counted 1000 speed bumps at this distance ( the previous time there were significantly fewer of them). These barriers were located everywhere, where it is necessary and not necessary. I noticed one interesting relationship , that in third-class countries, speed bumps are more numerous, the more stupid and stubborn drivers on the roads who respect and demand respect are negligible (unfortunately, Russia also falls into this list).
Only the hospitality of the Peruvian people remained unchanged, although not everywhere, but to a greater extent everywhere.
