23.02.2012 11:09, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #1395

This is Maniola jurtina. Seems its male.

11.01.2012 18:08, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11743

Yeah, right: that's Phlaeas. Outta be moved.

02.01.2012 23:49, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11709

Or Maniola jurtina (always confuse these), anyway not Coenonympha at all.

31.12.2011 6:19, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11700

Seems to be. The angle is not handy though.

30.12.2011 13:05, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #4186

The shot date should be changed to 2009/08/23. I've got on my personal page this very caterpillar "extended".

29.12.2011 11:31, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11616

By the way, if anybody has its common form? It'd be cool to get 'em here.

21.12.2011 21:00, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #2970

That's the sole Charaxinae I've got. However, before I was gifted lots of such souvenir stuff.

21.12.2011 20:34, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #2970

Dmitry, no matter, I added that. I promised to, whatsoever. That's good you reminded me cause I already forgot that.

21.12.2011 20:16, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #2970

Specially as it's needed I poked out that souvenir thing this butterfly was put into with underside. Today I'll throw it in :)

21.12.2011 13:20, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11598

And, by the way, to "identified successfully: http://www.boldsystems.org/views/taxbrowser.php?taxid=318572.

21.12.2011 12:38, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #2972

The underside uploaded. It's labelled with the shot date which should be marked there too. I'll add genus now and apply the species therein.

21.12.2011 12:08, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #2972

Will be a little bit later on, I'll add it today to my personal page. Just as I've got it right ready to hand.

21.12.2011 12:01, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11598

Agree, it's better to define it as neumanni. I'll add a species now.

20.12.2011 20:38, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11598

Yeah, that's a bad deal with all these Eligma, I found just two species looked nearly twins. So that's why it's in "uncertain". Wash-out... Even though these are big and bright-colored moths, there is minimum information about...

20.12.2011 19:31, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11616

Ugh, thanks. I suspected that too, but its darkness confused me either I couldn't find an underside photo.

20.12.2011 12:58, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11617

The underside of a butterfly on #11616 photo.

18.12.2011 21:31, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11602

Might be moved to "identified successfully", I think? I relied on this when identifying: http://www.drlegrain.be/0nyungwe/jour/Pierinae/Pierinae.html#mylothris.

17.12.2011 17:42, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11599

The underside of the #11598 moth.

17.12.2011 17:41, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11601

The underside of a butterfly on #11600 shot.

16.12.2011 16:56, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11566

The underside of a male on #11565 shot.

16.12.2011 16:46, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11571

Dmitry, thanks for identifying! Just as I'm ready to share three items of this species (this is a sole butterfly which came not single). But I'm interested in trading not selling. Let's deal it by e-mail, if needed.

16.12.2011 13:24, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11575

You did it right: this is the underside of a butterfly on #11574 photo.

14.12.2011 23:09, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #6925

Hapigia annulata, Schaus, 1905?

13.12.2011 21:55, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11495

"Hey, I know the fella!" cause that's me who identified it :)

13.12.2011 21:55, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #11495

This species is identified correctly.

13.12.2011 17:30, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #3310

Petr, please, correct its type, this is not alive one :) Seems some bug.

29.11.2011 7:19, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #2970

I'll add that later on. Have no time to reshoot it. Any doubts?

12.11.2011 18:03, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #4195

I'm now doing the free Avast, this might stumble somehow (I'm about to change that soon to the favorite and reputable Dr. Web).

12.11.2011 14:06, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #4195

Andrey, that's even weird. Mine had such a big reaction. Heuristics blocked that completely. The file attached seems to be clear though. Weird.

11.11.2011 21:08, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #4195

Andrey, your mails are being blocked by my antivirus (can't get it thus): you'd better scan your system for some "evils".

11.11.2011 16:39, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #4195

Won't insist (I might have been wrong): what do people suggest?

03.11.2011 9:33, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #10970

If it's actually Calliteara pudibunda??? Unhappily, I know only "red-tailed" caterpillars, so that's why I wonder.

26.10.2011 17:39, Vasiliy Feoktistov: comment on photo #5540

Oospila atopochlora, Prout, 1933, not sure. The species should be taken out of the database and put to "uncertan".
