Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • The forewings are ash-grey, with a bluish tinge. Cross lines on them with a light border. The reniform spot is brownish, with a double border, below it is the middle spot with a black surrounding line. The hindwings are pinkish-red, with a broad, black and slightly curved median band that does not reach the inner edge. The outer edge of the hindwings is also black, but the fringe is light, and the abdomen is completely pink-red. [85].
