After harsh winters, up to half of our specimens die. Moreover, this death occurs indirectly through tinder boxes and can last for several years. But already in the first year after frost damage in the habit, the prospect is clear. A resident of the Dry-Steppe province also made a mistake about the rains. They are harmful only during the flowering period of apricots and a couple of weeks after that, when monilia is rampant. After, on the contrary, the more rain (within reason), the better the harvest. Although we must admit that even in a drought, an apricot will give birth, unlike, for example, an apple tree. But Pan is right about the soil: it should not be too swampy, for example, apricots do not grow at the bottom of flooded gullies and along the banks of ponds near the water's edge. And, perhaps most importantly, apricot does not tolerate shading, the more sun, the better.

It's a pity that I can't find a second such imported peach. I haven't really figured them out yet. Peach from dampness is affected by frizziness, i.e. fungus, but two years were normal, especially the first year was very wet.
I took the grapes from a local breeder who removes the grapes in buckets, but lives in a private house and has the opportunity to heat the greenhouse with gas.
Again, the neighbors have black sour grapes growing. It is sour, because it does not ripen (I think so). The greenhouse is not heated by them.

Well, I sympathize with you, and your praying mantis, in general, mantises are really not the easiest animals to keep, they need a terrarium more or less similar to the natural environment, first of all there should be a lot of different twigs, despite the fact that there is also an empty space under them, secondly, and this is very important, mantises on the one hand they do not like humidity and stagnation of air, but they also do not tolerate dryness and strong drafts. Ideally, they need a terrarium made entirely of mesh, with live plants, and a constant humidity in the room not higher than 70 and not lower than 60. Well, or with fluctuations in humidity in the morning / afternoon 90-50, as in nature.
I have mantises in such a terrarium always grew perfectly, not everything is made of mesh and there is forced ventilation, but the fan turns very slowly, so the air flow is slow, and the humidity increases at night.

I grew Transcaucasians to imago in cages made of two plastic beer glasses connected by a wide part. Yes, the holes were pierced with an awl and not one row, but without fanaticism. If there is nothing wet inside, such as living plants prescribed by Pan for some reason, then there is nowhere to take dampness, regardless of the amount of ventilation. And out of 20 mantises, only one female in such conditions shed crookedly, as she fell during molting, but in the end she lived the longest, because she still learned to take food from tweezers, unlike the others. The main secret of proper molting-twigs should be concentrated in the upper part of the terrarium and one or two on the side, so that the animal can climb on them. The praying mantis should hang from the ceiling, not sit on the bottom.

Alex, what exactly is wrong with your praying mantis? Let's take a photo, maybe everything there is not as scary as you think. For example, dented wings do not play a role at all.

I tried at least to plant it with my front paws on a twig, the back ones were generally like threads, they were braided and did not obey. But she didn't hold on, just moved a little at times, and then she died.
Terrarium in the photo 30L, one compartment-15L. It's huge, I gave you a photo earlier. The heights there are 10 times the size of a praying mantis. The grid is there from the sides and top. On the flower is impossible, because the neighbor's cockroaches are regularly poisoned by me.
