Can you tell me who it is? We've been suffering for 4 days now. They only crawl out to the entrance. There is no entrance, there is no garbage chute, the basement is said to be clean.

Pterochloroides persicae

06.10.2016 14:18, Анастасия2016

Are they blood-sucking? And why are they swarming at the entrance? Run over from a tree?
Sorry for the questions, we need to remove them somehow, but we don't know how.

06.10.2016 14:21, Анастасия2016

This is all happening in Moscow, and there are no fruit trees nearby.

No, not bloodsuckers.
You can remove it with a broom on the lawn. wink.gif

06.10.2016 16:49, Анастасия2016

I just don't understand something. Here in the photos they are crushed and covered in blood all over. Where did the blood come from? I thought it might be a bedbug that was pumping up.

06.10.2016 17:22, Necrocephalus

It's not blood. The color of the internal pigments of insects can be different. Green, yellow, and red.

06.10.2016 18:43, Анастасия2016

Thank you so much for your answers!!!!!!!!!
And you can ask another question. There have never been any before, but now there is an invasion of some kind and a lot of them. The feeling that every day there is a fight with broken noses in front of the entrance.
How to get rid of them? The janitor washes them off with water every day, but in the evening you go to the entrance and it crunches under your shoes.

The best way out is to do nothing. These insects are harmless to humans, and treatment with any chemical still carries a toxic load. Soon it will get colder, and they will disappear. PS: look for the reason in new plants recently planted in front of the house or somewhere nearby.

08.10.2016 13:15, iRoot

Hi.
Can you tell me who it is? It was found in a single copy in the bed.
Is it worth worrying about? Where could it have come from?
Thank you in advance.

Goldeneye larva. By the way, the second case on the forum of finding it in bed for half a year. I won't even try to figure out how they get there.

Good afternoon. Such a "fluff" was seen in June on a buckthorn branch in a forest in the east of Moscow. I touched it with my wand, and there were a few "fluffs" left on it . which began to slowly spread out. So small at the base of the "fluff" that I couldn't see it without my glasses.)

Yes, it's clear that-a butterfly cocoon. Probably better to post it here perhaps, experts will determine more precisely. What should I do? here.
