What a winning angle wink.gifI think, Poecilus (s.str.) versicolor. It looks like there is a shoulder clove there. And if not, then P. cupreus smile.gif.

Please forgive the angle, but the animal runs too fast. It seems like the truth is versicolor. Thanks!

At first glance-Sphenoptera palea.

This is already interesting...
Indicate
? Sphenoptera antiqua antiqua (Illiger, 1803)
S. I. Medvedev and V. S. Solodovnikova (1979) indicate this species (emphasizing a significant decrease in its abundance) for the Eastern Ukrainian section of the Forest-Steppe.
? Sphenoptera basalis basalis Morawitz, 1861
S. I. Medvedev and V. S. Solodovnikova (1979) indicate this species (emphasizing a significant decrease in its abundance). population) for the Eastern Ukrainian section of the Forest-Steppe.
Sphenoptera coracina (Steven, 1830)
Volchanskaya district (Skryl'nik Yu. leg.), Dvurechansky district (Terekhova V. leg.).
? Sphenoptera substriata (Krynicky, 1834)
Chuguevsky district, village. Eshar. 28.07.1938. 1 copy, Kakhovsky. Call number. MPHNU.

Boris, have you seen any modern keys on them? smile.gif

I didn't go into the keys at all, it's not from my opera. Yes, and when I catch and take pictures if I'm on each will be in the keys to sit. I'm already in one field day, then I catch a week in the dropout list and remove it. That's why I threw it here. There are still a couple of local specialists... we'll figure it out.

Stop, stop, don't jump to conclusions wink.gif. First, we can only say for sure that it is a subgenus of Chilostetha (and it is not an antiqua or coracina). Secondly, all long-standing data for this group, let's say, needs to be checked. As far as I know, M. G. Volkovich was the last major specialist to deal with them (I enclose the article), but I did not see the published keys. Based on this work, S. basalis basalis (S. hero and S. vernalis are synonymous with this subspecies), S. cauta palea (Volkovich considers it a subspecies of kauta), and S. substriata (=C. comita) are known for Ukraine. I'm not an expert, but I've seen all three of them, and your sculpture copy looks more like palea at first glance, but you need to understand, of course.

You should at least crop the photos, or something. And then you can see the edges of the die, and sometimes even pins, which is very "essential" for determining. On the penultimate photo, the staff is from the Aleocharinae settlement, the last one is from the Tachyporinae.
