no, it is from the abchasicus group
defined as follows:

It seems that in the collections there is exactly the same, but even smaller, the spitting image of anastrangalia, but with a different pronotum-the lower edges are drawn to the side. We need to clarify, of course.

If a male - look at the hind legs, they should be curved even in small specimens. In the Far East, this yellow-winged form sometimes makes up almost half of the population.smile.gif

№2 - Protaetia metallica

No. 1-most likely, it is also it, but the process of the mid-chest is too wide and rounded for this species. So, with a small probability, maybe P. fieberi is so unusual. By all other signs, it looks more like metallica.

Protaetia metallica both, like the pinhole shape or whatever it is. we also have plenty of them, and they sit together with the "classics" on the same flower. fieberi is quite different

The first one has a prothorax rather like Fiberi's, while metallica has never seen it so wide in my life. Otherwise, it's really typical metallica, just like I wrote. However, among other Protaetia species, I occasionally come across freaks with a strongly distorted (relative to the norm for the species) shape of this process, perhaps this is just a similar case.
