To Gennadich
, if up to 7 mm., then rather Pseudovadonia livida. Yes, and the form of prdnspki... But I don't claim it.

No, Gennadich identified it correctly, it's maculicornis. The light bases of the antennal segments are clearly visible.

I put it up two years ago: http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtop...dpost&p=1511192 on the definition (number 3) a similar "rhino" - it has remained reliably undetermined... However, this version was expressed: http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtop...dpost&p=1511473

Viktor Dmitrievich, thank you! On the representatives of Dichodontus really similar,
of course, if only the picture is considered, but you probably have a different view

So this is definitely Dichodontus, a minor male. But from almost unpunctured species. I would venture to suggest D. coronatum (especially if I don't see clearly dotted striae along the mitral suture), or M. B. D. grandis. Not only the shape of the PRSP, but also its outline and sculpture change significantly in f. Major's work. I advise you to wipe the beetle and rummage through the photos on the Internet, both types are often on sale (m. b. not from Sarawak), there is something minor, especially among the so-called "females" (just in case, they do not have horns, at most a bump). Although the definitions there should be treated carefully.

Thanks, of the two options, it looks more like D. coronatus. Grandis ' ndkrs are quite
smooth. Will be in the collection under question

what options will anyone have?
males are up to 5.5 mm, females are slightly smaller. on ndkr there are very small hairs, on prsp there is no (did not find)
