Gentlemen, hello. I would like to know your opinion about the following beetles: Central Columbia, May-June 2016. Families and some subfamilies are clear, I would like to know what kind of genus (well, the species, if anyone can tell me)
I apologize in advance for the quality of the photo, I couldn't shoot it in daylight, and there is no way to organize normal lighting at home either. I was shooting hunched over beetles with my camera. So don't judge me harshly smile.gif

It's a skin-eating beetle. There are many types of them: https://www.zin.ru/animalia/coleoptera/rus/derme_gn.htm Yours is almost certainly Dermestes murinus.
In the croup, they should not be. And they can get into the apartment to you, for example, through ventilation passages.

There are. Representatives of the genus Dermestes in particular.
Here's the bug that Dmitrich suggested:

And below it is a similar one.
This is exactly the size they are (if not larger) smile.gif

Does it look like a female Trichogomphus lunicollis (50-58 mm)?
3 beetles arrived in Fraser's hill (Malaysia) together with Simsons
Do not tell me, males from females in hollows, in addition to horning, are somehow different?
