What kind of barbel is this? Found in the yard. Photo from Ternopil region this summer (west of Ukraine)

Ropalopus. Most likely, R. macropus. Or small R. clavipes, you can't tell from the photo.

Greetings to the distinguished forum participants!

Please help me identify the beetles in the photos. All the photos were taken in Armenia, the dates are on the photos themselves.

7 - female Cerambyx multiplicatus, judging by the toned spot on the thigh.
8 - Carabus (Lamprostus) sp. Probably callei.
9,12-Dorcadion dimidiatum
14-Dorcadion nitidum
15-Melolontha pectoralis
16-Leiopus femoratus

Yes, it was really small (in the photo, it crawls on my fingers), compared to this - https://pp.vk.me/c636022/v636022846/19338/ABFPPPyCyno.jpg Prionus coriarius, if I'm not mistaken.
So, from the options you suggested, I choose the small R. clavipes. thank you!

The logic of choice seems somewhat strange smile.gifto me Look at the vertex part of the 1st segment of the tendril. If the dotted line there is very sparse and the antennas themselves have strong spines on the segments, then this may indeed turn out to be clavipes.
The smallest of mine is 14 mm. They are usually larger.

I meant that R. clavipes was smaller than the Prionus coriarius that I gave the link to.
And I do not know what size R. macropus is. Probably Ropalopus sp. everything is smaller than the Prionus sp. That's why I chose clavipes. And yes... there are no spikes, so let it be. smile.gif

You didn't read the hint carefully. If there are no spikes ,then this is just a macropus. And it is better to give the size of the beetle, and not a link to the comparison with fingers. 4 key strokes and a chik... ready!

is @smax-dux excluded? This creature was a hefty one, almost the size (without whiskers) of a mezinets, and multiplicatus, like, is a little small and more elegant in appearance. I don't know much about them, though...

## 2, 6, 10 and 13, at least up to the Genus does not work?

Yes, if hefty, then C. dux, you're right. It also has this brownish streak.

2-Mylabris

13-Carabus as for me, granulatus of some appearance. But I don't understand who it smile.gifis . There are colleagues who are competent in this area, but if no one is aroused, it means that there is not enough information.

Maybe one of them is Trachodes hispidus?

None of them are definitely Trachodes hispidus, as this species is not found in Transcaucasia. Moreover, I think it's not Trachodes at all. Acicnemis elongata (Reitter, 1888) is not found?
And the average companion is Echinodera (Ruteria), look at the revision of Savitsky.

For the definition of Ciidae, it is good to see fine structures. The angle of the photos is good, but the resolution is too weak, and it does not guarantee an absolutely accurate definition. Based on my own experience, I will venture to determine.

20 -- ?Sulcacis fronticornis (Panzer, 1805);
21 -- ?Cis micans (Fabricius, 1792);
22 -- ?Cis festivus (Panzer, 1793);
23 -- Cis boleti (Scopoli, 1763);
