Good afternoon!
Can you tell me if Mecinus labilis (Herbst, 1795) and Gymnetron labile (Schoenherr, 1825) are not the same beetle?Referring to this site http://baza.biomap.pl/en/taxon/species-mec...abile/photos_tx it turns out that so. A, on this site https://insecta.pro/taxonomy/228688 these are different types.
The same applies to Mecinus pascuorum (L. Gyllenhal, 1813) and Gymnetron pascuorum (Gyllenhal, 1813).

Part of Gymnetron has gone to Mecinus, so the information on the Polish site should be up-to-date. Although I do not know what a Gymnetron labile is in the first case (note the author-Schonherr, 1825, not Herbst, 1795). Here you need to understand.

Male and female? The color is different. It's more difficult with the size, since it's not this year... Relatively large. I think I was sitting on a burdock.

These beetles have a pollen-like coating of brown, yellow, and red tones on their integuments. It is especially dense when the beetle has just emerged from the pupa. Over the course of life, it gradually wears out. In the photo, one beetle has this plaque badly wiped off, the other does not.

If DSC01264 is on burdock and longer than 8 mm, then it is probably Larinus sturnus (Schaller, 1783)

DSC01264 - male Larinus sturnus
DSC02912-really Cyphocleonus dealbatus
DSC04811 - but this one looks really different, not because of the plaque, but because of the very nature of the pubescence and sculpture. And the beetle itself is more massive. It may be C. trisulcatus. And what kind of biofuels? What was growing nearby?
DSC00974 - Amphimallon altaicum
DSC01300 - Liophloeus tessulatus
