1. Catapionus viridimetallicus (Motschulsky, 1861)
2. Also, but bald.
3. Catapionus sp., it would be a good idea to run it according to the revision of the Formacek - Revision der Rüßlergattung Catapionus (available online). Sometimes it turns out to go out on view. If you still use the work of Kazakova, then it can come out very well.
4. The first thought is Scepticus, but the mustache is embarrassing. Do you have vibrissae on the sides of the pronotum? Are the claws fused together or not?
5. Trichalophus almost certainly T. boeberi (Schönherr, 1826), the suture on the posterior slope protruding?
6. Hylobius (Callirus) gebleri Boheman, 1834

There is an idea that 1 and 3 are male and female. Especially if they came in the same series. By analogy with a similar type, but Kazakh. Right here https://www.zin.ru/animalia/coleoptera/rus/catsp_sk.htm

More than one Catapionus species can live in one place. Both beetles are female. Males have dilated front and middle legs.

Please tell me where you can view clear keys for Cheironitis. Actually interested in Ch. sterculius and Ch. furcifer, I already began to doubt whether they are synonyms? But they don't seem to overlap in the lists of synonyms for these types. And also Ch. moeris. This work didn't help much https://www.zin.ru/animalia/coleoptera/pdf/nikolaev_1987.pdf (page 74)
And yet, how is it correct - Cheironitis or Chironitis? Sorry for the stupid question.

I tried. Turn out. All my 6 pieces of different sizes turned out to be Cheironitis sterculius Ballion, 1870. I'll take on geotrupssmile.gif
Thanks for the tip. Kabakov I had downloaded, but I didn't really use it, it seemed too complicated. It's not "Green". Now go to delo

Attempts to reliably determine failed confused.gif- because there are no good definitions. tables and photos in the network. I also have such photos "with white hairs on the prsp" . warhead from walnuts ( I even bred them from the larva) and other dried fruits, but I have not yet found out the origin. Have you contacted Marina Benkovskaya?

Recently, Yasha Kovalenko has been working on invasive megatoms. Try writing to them.

In addition to my premises, such megatoms are also found in parks on the dry roadsides of trees, and one copy is derived from the branches of a prickly spruce.

interesting. what's he doing in the tree? maybe a barbel lived in it and did not live to see it, and megatomka ate up its remains? tc just chewing a Christmas tree is something sexy for megatom

And HZ-the branches were with Magdalis moves and larvae, which I tried to bring out. It didn't work out, they dried up/died, BUT Megatoma got out. At first, I thought it was a sinful thing that I got in from the outside, but the jar was closed, and the ventilation holes were sealed with " gas " - there were no holes... Apparently the eggs/larvae were originally on the branches.

Didn't finish it, or what? 12 mm vs normal L. iridis (20 mm) .

Didn't finish it, or what? 12 mm against normal L. iridis (20 mm).

It's difficult to work with the "norm" there - the view is too changeable. But 12 mm is rare, but they are found, but I have not seen smaller ones. This one may have developed in a thin stalk.

This is a beetle with a strongly developed lateral rib of elytra, from the tschitscherini group. Your male has darkened thighs, but I wouldn't make anything up here. I have several kapchagaicum, including one from Danilevsky. Your pair is even more similar to them than the photo from the article that you brought.
A real D. globithorax is described from Kapchagai, but I don't have it to compare.
Цитирую: " All species of "tschitscherini-group" (also including D. suvorovianum and D. kapchagaicus Danilevsky, 1996 a) differ from other Dorcadion s.str. by the very strong development of the humeral carinae and the extremely dense fine antennal and leg pubescence; )
You can write to Danilevsky, for the sake of an authoritative opinion.
