to Mylabris
is definitely an apollo, but it's hard to tell by subspecies. First of all, you need to specify the collection point. In appearance: at the top, the female is yes merzhbaheri, and the male at the bottom is still moscovitus.

They were caught both at the same time in the same place: Zailiysky Alatau, Kok-Zhailau, 2600 m. 10.07.08

#3-Sorry, I'm not a collector, but an amateur photographer. What am I going to do with it? They flew about 5 pieces, I did not think that this is an unknown species in our country.
No. 7-not very large (the size of Cleora cinctaria)
No. 8-taken on July 13, 2008. St. Petelino, at night on the light of the DRL lamp.
And for No. 2, really no considerations? Could it be Venusia cambrica?

P.S. Can you take a look at my shovel?

3 - let's guess? C. alfacariensis on top, C. erate on the bottom.

Vlad, well, with giala and alfakar, it's clear, but by what signs did you identify karate there?? After all, she has a border on the wing feathers in the anal corner extending towards the root

Erate definitely can not be. If we were talking about females. And here the male has a black border that does not reach the end, as it should be in erate. In addition, the erate is more saturated (well, this is by the way). Here's what erate looks like just in case of fire (from Tuzov)

Plebejus argus. Kremenchug, as far as I understand this is Ukraine, I don't think you have any other plebeians like Argus, as far as my memory serves me correctly (Chikolovets, 2005). If you do not take P. argyrognomon and P. idas - but this is definitely not them.

Can you tell me if this is Aphantopus hyperantus? It's funny, but she sat down on a leaf and lay down on the wing with her legs tucked up... Pretending to be dead? (Moscow, July 10, 2008)

And this one-Melitaea athalia or Melitaea aurelia? can you tell them apart from the top view?

Help identify the butterflies!
1. Steppe, on wild onion or garlic flowers

Two females of Brachodes pumila.
Vlad, well, with giala and alfakar, it's clear, but by what signs did you identify karate there?? She has a border on the wing feathers in the anal corner in the direction of the root expands

I agree with Vlad, which is similar to Erata. Hyales are usually lighter and have pronounced white spots located in an arc at the apex of the forewing.
Erate definitely can not be. If we were talking about females. And here the male has a black border that does not reach the end, as it should be in erate. In addition, the erate is more saturated (well, this is by the way). Here's what erate looks like just in case of fire (from Tuzov)

Erats, like some other jaundice, are very variable. This image shows only a special case. I do not claim that Sergey Erat has it, but it is possible.

3. hyale or alfacariensis can be said either by the preimaginal stage or by the genitals.

I tried to identify them by their genitals , but it didn't work. Their genitals are similar, but they are as variable as the butterflies themselves. L. Bolshakov also wrote that not all specimens of these two species can be distinguished even by their genitals.

Thank you.

1. A. hyperanthus, yes. Basking on your side is a typical behavior for marigolds.

2. In Lukhovitsky (where, by the way?) -"more like M. britomartis."

3. L. virgaureae.
