Similar to the caterpillar Depressaria sp.

Help me identify the caterpillar. It is found in the country in strawberries and raspberries late in autumn and recently on a rose. The size of the tracks is about 5 mm. Vladivostok. Until last year, such caterpillars were not foundpicture: DSC_0288.jpgpicture: DSC_0290.jpg

I think Scotopteryx sp.

In Scotopteryx, the caterpillars are completely different, they will be more hairy.
This is someone from Ennominae.

In bastelbergeri, the caterpillar is also similar. There are some vague photos on lepiforum, but I don't know where else to look.

Good afternoon!
In the photo, a tobacco hawk moth planted large caterpillars in vermiculite to pupate.
After a week, they turned black and shriveled, just like in the photo.
Question: did they die from moisture or improper soil, or is this one of the stages of transformation?

No, it's more like a dragonflysmile.gif's cocoon, so it'll probably look like this when it hatches:
