Good evening, everyone. Who can tell me whose pupa it is ?Found today in garage C.Tatarka Stavropol. kr. To the touch solid, probably no one will come out

Large, high-quality images are needed to increase the probability of identifying pupae. I'll assume it's some kind of moth. Judging by the empty tip of the abdomen, the butterfly has already formed there, which means either it will come out soon or it has died. In the second case, to determine it, it must be carefully removed and welded. It also doesn't hurt to take a high-quality picture of the rudiments of the wings.

Lycia hirtaria

Excuse me, but is this exactly the view? We just don't have this butterfly in the list of species (http://nature-mordovia.ru/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=109&Itemid=116). It is nice, of course, that this is a new species for the fauna, but it is doubtful somehow smile.gif

Hello. Try going to page 8 where there is a similar one to yours. I didn't find another similar one . And exactly-it is necessary to output. I brought out the Helicoverpa armigera scoop from the caterpillar and it was remotely similar to the photographic ones.

hirtaria is.
There is also a similar Lycia pomonaria, but since it is on acacia trees, then, apparently, it is still hirtaria.
By the way, what do you mean by acacia?
And the date would be nice.

Please help me identify the pupa found on a cabbage leaf on September 16 (Moscow region). Pupa Pieris rapae or maybe Pieris brassicae? Thank you very much in advance! picture: IMG_4844_.jpg

IMHO, Pieris rapae or napi.

napi doesn't seem to live on cabbage... or does he live?

Thank you very much! More like a turnip....I've bred a butterfly out of this one that doesn't look like a rutabaga. In appearance, either cabbage or turnip.

It seems to me that both species can live on many types of cabbage (+capers). But, unfortunately, I don't have any observations about napi.

Cabbage and turnip are just noticeably different, both in size and in the shape of the wings and in color. smile.gif But the summer generation of rutabagas from turnips is poorly distinguishable.

1. Some kind of fingerfly, most likely Emmelina monodactyla
http://www.lepiforum.de/cgi-bin/lepiwiki.p...ina_Monodactyla
2. In my opinion, some kind of fire. For a more precise definition, it would be good to know which species (subfamilies) develop on clove trees. I don't know, unfortunately.

update
Another option is the larva of an elephant beetle.
