Now I can objectively say, the worse the pins "Monarch" pins "Sphinx". In the case of soaking the mounted insect together with a pin in pairs of vodka or alcohol, the head of the Monarch pins disappears in 80% of cases. This never happens with Sphinx pins.

18.02.2008 3:53, Karat

I use monarch and morpho myself. When soaking beetles in a tattoo in boiling water, some monarchs will slightly lighten. There are no other complaints. Has anyone ever used white stainless steel pins??? Where did I see 8 cu for a pack?????

18.02.2008 12:28, Трофим

Here you guys give what's worse, what's better, no offense. Here people can not find pins, I generally use Soviet ordinary ones (either with a ball at the end, and when there was no hook ones, they went) since there are no other options available yet. In my time, I used to sit with a whetstone and cut pins out of the wire from under New Year's toys, and then a drop of epoxy. In total, I made 500 pieces then. So I still have when classmates meet who were sitting in front of the desk and say, do you remember how you did pins. smile.gif

18.02.2008 13:48, omar

So what? There was a time when I made it myself, too, from guitar strings. tongue.gif But now the times are different. You can afford the very best. Oh, I'll break up, order myself with gold heads tongue.gif

18.02.2008 13:53, Трофим

From the strings, too, by the way, did. smile.gif

18.02.2008 15:03, Aleksandr Ermakov

Oh, I'll go out and order some with gold heads tongue.gif

Then some vandals will come with wire cutters and all pootkusyvayut

Well, it's not that there are some who can't even find entomological pins, but that those who can afford them want better ones. After all, you can not stop at the century before last.. After all, there are now those who still make strings out of strings, and they can say something like: "here someone now uses cool pins with hooks, and someone does it manually.". it's pointless..
I didn't really like the pins with white packaging and a painted Paussalida or whatever it is - beetles that work in anthills.. Aesthetically, they are super-matte, beautiful.. But it is very easy to bend, which is not very good.. As if they are made from strings smile.gif

Have you already ordered there? No barriers? quality? Delivery?
And then I climbed the site, I really wanted to order a couple of thousand pins in the next few days smile.gif

19.02.2008 12:07, Andylog

I found a mention on the site about a minimum order of 4000 pins. A little over $ 100, as I understand it. Another "shipping & handling" in the amount of $ 20-25. But still, the price is not bad.

19.02.2008 14:09, RippeR

yes, there is a mention, but this is all nonsense, because I myself will order at least 2 pieces, and in general, if I place an order, then the whole of Moldova smile.gif

Here you can order -

Ordered 4600 pcs. stainless, satisfied, terrible jump.gifQuality is excellent. Delivered in two weeks in the parcel, everything is as it should be, only then, after receiving, paid and everything is ok.
Really happy, I advise you. cool.gif

21.04.2008 19:50, entomolog

And what is the price for a thousand per circle?

21.04.2008 20:04, Musson max

What do you mean "on the circle"?

21.04.2008 22:22, entomolog

Circle - all the fuss and all the expenses starting from getting information and ending with the transfer of money to get pins.
Roughly speaking, how much money did you have to spend to become the owner of 4600 pins.

With all the correspondent banks (since I paid as an individual), I got about $ 200 (+/- $10)

Four pupaars a hundred... Quite acceptable, one and a half times cheaper than in the store.

Yes, I also talked to this Czech. Not a bad person. He said quite politely that he sells lots of at least 5,000 items and doesn't accept credit cards(which is a good thing). To my answer that it was quite a lot for me alone, he said that it was better to cooperate with friends, like, it also makes no sense for him to pay for the shipment. So I decided so-I take a batch of 5000 pins at a price of 4.10 for a hundred white, the company "BOHEMIA" will sell the rest at the congress for 4.25-4.40.Please note that there is no speculation about what I charge for, and I pay for it(the surcharge for money transfer services is also not free of charge). So those who wish can apply.I will give it back in Moscow, at the congress. It is advisable to write in advance what sizes will be interisuet during the week.Write to your personal account.

Dear colleagues! Can you tell me where in Russia you can buy dies for gluing (and then something quite fastidious becamesmile.gif) and how much it will cost?

17.05.2008 15:26, andros

Can you send it to us now?

19.05.2008 18:05, taler

I haven't received it myself yet.
No, I won't send it.It doesn't make sense-the shipping price increases.I'll bring a few packs to the convention. In principle, not so much to carry already...

You can also order 2 minutum numbers both for money and for exchange

08.08.2008 13:57, Bad Den

$ 6 per pack? However...

08.08.2008 16:42, collector

Bad den-please don't be offended by my prices.
I buy needles only from Vit Kaborek
with a catorym sign since 1988. He has a pack of 100 pieces worth 2.7 euros,
And a thousand pieces of 23 euros. This is the price in his shop in Zilina (South Moravia) . To this, you need to add the transfer fee, mail, and the fact that it
sends only after 100% payment of the order. I send orders in advance
and sometimes I don't get anything.

09.08.2008 11:26, Bad Den

I'm not offended
I was surprised

10.08.2008 21:23, AlexEvs

In general, quite normal prices for Russia. Of course, you can find it cheaper. But at Entomology Store # 1, where Entosphinx pins are sold, the price is the same. This raises the question of the quality of Kaborek pins. I've never used them or heard anything about them.

10.08.2008 21:36, Fornax13

Can you tell me if this link is working now? - http://www.kabatek.cz
And what is the order processing procedure? I've just never dealt with such things before...

I recently received Shiga pins from Japan, which cost 245 euros for 5000 (49 euros for 1000) by express mail and payment. It's expensive, but in Europe they charge 5-6 per hundred rubles for them, plus forwarding and transfers. So everything is relative.

Good price, in my opinion

18.08.2008 15:54, collector

Today I received Czech needles-No. 1 and No. 2 for 5000 of each number.

I will buy only white pins of all sizes in Moscow. Also, if available, Japanese ones without heads. Write to your personal account.

27.02.2011 19:30, nikita4orlova

There was a question when buying-are pins made of stainless steel mandatory? which ones do you use?
